    I'm another IT guy. Worked for EDS supporting Delphi and GM for 11 years, left and spent a few years doing IT consulting, and now work for the Town of Fishers. PCs, servers, LAN, WAN, infrastructure, virtualization, training...I've had opportunities to do a lot of stuff, much of it global in scope too.

    First 14 1975-1989 in the USAF on B52's, KC-135's, and WC-135B's

    1989 to present as an Airframe and Powerplant Mech at various Airlines both Freight and people movers. I specialize in Avionics, Electronics, Navigation and Communications systems.

    - Welding 2yrs welding school. Welded school buses at Carpenters in Mitchell, welded forklift masts for Toyota in Columbus. Can weld about anything MIG & TIG.

    - Mechanic AGE mechanic in the Air Force. (diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems....ect.)

    - Architect (unlicensed) Graduated from Ball State College of Architecture & Planning.

    - Machinist (shade tree, self taught) would like to learn from someone who has been schooled properly.

    - Limestone Man operating a limestone fabrication mill near Bedford.

    Too many programming languages to list from COBOL to C# and SAP ABAP
    Operating Systems from Novell and NT 3.5 to Win2K8, Unix, Redhat, FreeBSD.
    Did web stuff for awhile, but hated JAVA.
    IT Security - CISSP, PC Forensics (Encase), Intrusion Detection, Anti-Virus, Firewalls

    Currently working in SAP, managing interfaces from our systems to other systems, internal and external.

    Im a musician. I know alot about music, guitars, drums, etc. Im also a whiskey officionado, especially Kentucky varieties, however Cutty Sark's pretty good... and remember folks MODERATION IS THE KEY!...and guns and alcohol hate each other....

    And what's wrong with Delphi???

    I used to love Delphi - it was the first programming language I learned after QBasic, and I used it for years, both hobby and commercially. That said, I have since discovered C# - anything I would have written in Delphi before, I would far prefer to write in C# now.

    As for my specialties, I am a computer engineer, albeit with not quite as much experience as some of you above. I do some desktop work (C++, C#, Java), and some embedded systems (C, never quite got into ASM). I also do web programming (LAMP stack) in my spare time.

    Oh, and I know entirely too much about World of Warcraft. Stupid game is digital crack.
