You're welcome to come to my house and make dinner too. My kids seemed to enjoy your deviled eggs so we may be onto something :):

They are such sweet little girls! I will have to find time to wander that way now that I have more free time on my hands.

save some stir fry for me!

Unfortunately I don't think that far ahead when it comes to food.

It comes with, well, maturity. At your age, my most frequent kitchen adventure was baking pies. Given that it was one of my preferred methods of working out stressed, most people on campus who knew me liked to see me stressing--and i never had any shortage of volunteers to help eat afterwards!

For what it's worth, I tend to be enough of a cooking snob that I don't like using pre-made ingredients, right down to making my own pie crusts and pizza crusts (which is on the menu in the near future as well).

Maybe we will have to organize an INGO cooking party.

YAY cooking party sounds good. I make asian pastries and I make an amazing Char siu bao. They take a lot of time... well to me they do.

You're always welcome! And I am down for a cooking party. I might even make my bacon cookies! I do know what you mean about making things from scratch. I can't stand to use anything from a box. And that refrigerated cookie dough stuff? No thanks. Home made tastes so much better. When you have to actually put forth an effort to make something it seems like the reward is better. I will find out soon. My crab cakes should be done in just a few minutes :D

This is starting to sound like fun--and it's starting to make me hungry. I suppose that stands as motivation to get down to business tomorrow.

One of my off the wall ideas is to use either the Revere Ware or cast iron skillet (which was not really made for cooking and will likely need some machining) which are both about as big around as a large biscuit to fry eggs (the right size), make sausage patties, and a batch of biscuits to make my own breakfast sandwiches. I am sure I can hand Ronald's tail to him!

I think that sounds phenomenal!! If you do that let me know. I would love to try one!

As soon as I get things under control on the farm, we'll have to get together. After almost two weeks out of the truck after working phenomenal hours, I feel like I just got out of prison! Today, I took my rototiller and Gravely walk behind tractor, neither of which I could get lined out myself, to the repairman. Unless a deal that has been stalled for a while comes through and I end up on the way to North Dakota for a while, I will have a lot of planting to do, but it should allow some free time for a change.

That sounds nice. I would love some free time. These hours at work are getting to me but at least I have one day off a week. And fortunately that day is Sunday so I get to spend Easter with my kids. The girls have been asking me for two weeks when the Easter bunny is coming :):

We could be ornery and tell them that he doesn't feel like travelling that far from Evansville! :):

It is getting about time to turn in. Have a good night and give the munchkins and extra hug for me!
