I don't mean to derail this "glue" thread:), but is there going to be another item to sign up for today? Somehow I missed yesterday's unless we didn't have one.

    I don't Facebook so I guess I can't play for this one...

Bummer. I don't FB either. Seems like it is a "given" that everyone has a FB page. Oh, well...

Everyone expects us to use social media. I don't use FB either and I'll miss out on some things that I'd like to participate in. So be it. "Liking" something on FB gives them greater access to your info, so even if I had a FB page, I'd be hesitant to like everything. For me, it is a privacy issue. I like that Indy Trading Post had an alternate entry system.

Honestly I would just post up a number and say that you don't have a facebook anyway. The reason they're doing the facebook/email thing is to expand their sales audience and it makes sense, but even if you don't have a facebook page they're still getting everybody else to like it.

I get why business do Facebook and why it is important to them to have a lt of "likes".
It is about privacy and also because I feel Facebook is a but too government controlled for my tastes.

I remember when facebook required you to have a university issued email address to sign up. It was originally for incoming college freshmen to meet people at their new school. :oldwise:
