I'll be shooting in squad 1 on Saturday with Coach and Obijohn. Finally figured out how I was assigned there. If Coach or Obijohn don't have a stellar day, they can watch me shoot and feel better about themselves!:):

I'll be there Sunday too, staffing the "Dirty Deeds" stage.

    Saturday Squad 1 here, also.

Directions are printed and I even [gasp!] cleaned my gun!
Figure it had been at least a year so might as well... At least that chore is done for '09.

Of course, having just moved I couldn't find a tool and using the wrong tool meant I sent a sear spring to where ever it is that gun springs and socks disappear to.... oh well, good thing I had a couple spares.

All that's left is to pick out some tunes for the 7 hr round trip.

Haven't shot PD since the fall; I've been shooting open lately... hope I remember to reload! haha

Six of the seven stages are set up, and I may be biased but it looks like a good match.

Coach, will you be chrono'ing loads for PF?
If so, I think I'm going to bring factory loads. I still haven't run my loads over a chronograph. I'm not trying for mousefart loads or anything, but I'm not positive they'll make PF.

As far as I know, there is no chrono stage at this match. There wasn't any mention of it on the staff list either. Don't take my word, but that's my best guess.

Good luck to everyone shootin' this weekend. Maybe next year I'll have the vacation time to come up and shoot it, I miss getting a chance to shoot with the Riley crew.

Hopefully notasccrmom doesn't live up to his avatar. :D

I'm closing the gap on Deaner, he was three ahead of me this time :)

Always good to have someone to chase :D

I have to confess - I was trying to compile your stage points based on your hits/time in my head before it was my turn to shoot. I would think "OK, JT got about X points on this stage so I need to hit X alphas in X time for a score of X more."
Actually, I'm kind of surprised you didn't finish ahead of me. I didn't shoot the classifier well at all, and I had 3 mikes on stage 2.

That third stage you really cleaned up though, great time with 20+ A's. I hurt myself in the woods trying to shoot "slow" to get A's. It's good for us to shoot together, because we can push each other.

I'm just hoping I beat you in a stage or two :D

Thanks to all of you on this board who helped with the match. I greatly appreciate it. I also greatly appreciate all who shot the match. The guy who arranged the weather got a stern talking to. He is on probation one more like this and he is fired. Congrats Nathan on the gun.
