That confused me as well. I heard them say that EMS 'was' with the suspect and he was '10-0' meaning he was deceased.

Condolences to everyone involved. Only consolation is the officer took the perp with him... Not a good ratio, but trying to see the good in everything to stay positive.

In before some jackwagon complains about shutting down the route to get the officer to the hospital quicker.
