Eastern Tennessee within a 30 min drive South to Knoxville, There is 250,000+ acres state owned land that I could off-road, hunt and take a boat on. Then I would only need to buy 20 acres or so.

Nevada, because I used to live out there and I miss the desert.

Born and raised a Hoosier, moved to Nevada for a spell and returned a year later back to Indiana, but man. Blue skies every day, warm every day, and I just miss that warm dry heat.

I remember flying back home to visit after being out there a while. It was maybe in the high 90's when I left Vegas, warm but not uncomfortable. I landed in Indiana where it was like 78 but it had rained earlier that morning. I was sitting outside on a bench waiting for my ride and was sweating from just sitting there. I hate the humidity we get here sometimes.

Dry heat for the win. Winters are nice too. Only snow you'll see is on top of mountains.
