Sorry I am not sensitive enough for you and others like you. Life goes on every day. Several someones get hurt daily, several more die daily. That is life. You can either choose to mourn and cry through life or you can choose to celibrate life and have a laugh at its expense. Life is not that serious of business that you can have humor even in the gravest of times. Why don't follow your own advice Pot, I know I have a blackheart and a gallows sense of humor.

If you do not like my attitude then either do not read my postings, or use the sites ignore feature, or better yet step of your soapbox...

How about you just post your humor where and when it is needed .

This thread certainly is was not started as humor , nobody asked you to make jokes in this thread to lighten the mood .

This OP seems very concerned and Heartfelt for what has taken place to his friend and asked for our prayers .

I don't care if you have 1 million posts or how long you've been a member here , wrong is wrong .

As far as my Soap box , I call it as I see it .

I'm not knocking your kind of humor , it's just not called for in this thread .
If you seem to think that this thread was started as humor it's you that have a problem , and lack of some kind of maturity .

It's also disrespectful to the OP , if you really think what I've typed is wrong , this will give everyone a clue about the type person you really are .

To the OP you may have to start a new thread to give Us that care an update on your friend .

Man I am sorry for your friend.

I have my gun on my hip or in reach at all times, and when I get home is one of the times I am especially alert for danger.
+1. When we come home from an overnight trip my wife stays in the car while I check the house with pistol drawn and a combat light in the other hand. We have an alarm system but if someone comes in the right window it wouldn't show alarm.

My prayers go out to this man and his family.

I live about 1.5 miles from there. Seems like we have had a increase in homes and cars being broke into lately in our neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. Seems like people will steal anything. My girlfriend always ask me why i carry everywhere we go. And with the recent crime happening all the time she understands. She is very supportive of me owning and carrying a gun. Now if I can just get her to to get a permit and carry daily.

My prayers go out to this man and his family. Another reminder to always carry with you. I just wished the reminder isn't a man getting shot in the back with his own gun.

Very sorry to hear of your friends encounter. Thoughts go out to him and his family and best wishes for a full recovery. I hope the piece of crap responsible for this gets caught.

This is a real life example why I either have my guns locked in the safe or with me.

This man found out the hard way how dumb it is to leave your home and leave a gun that can be used on you.
