I hate to correct your correction...

But, .12 and .20 are hardly in the Cannon range. Slighty lower than BB (.177) and .22LR does not make a cannon round...

I think he was referring to the fact that the smaller the gauge of a shotgun, the larger the bore. So a .12 or .20 GAUGE would make a large bore.

Yup... from my calculations a .12 gauge is about 3 3/8"

That is definitely cannon range...
