I took his quote as a "dig" at me for not being a site supporter. I've been on ARFCOM for years, it happens fairly often between the team and non-team members.

That's why I said I'd wait till I find one that's worth keeping around, lol. I had already read in this thread to not be surprised by $100 a piece. But definitely sounds like someplace I'd like to try someday.

Going tues for a b'day been wanting to go for a loooong time now but i haven't been able to shame either of my girls into taking me ,dang it!!!!

oh. mah. gawd.

It was everything y'all said it would be. When we turned over our chips for the first time, we were not prepared for the swarm of gaucho chefs armed with delicious cuts of meat that would descend upon us! All of the employees were very nice about answering questions, and incredibly prompt filling glasses and swapping plates. They're ninjas!

We ate our fill, got a tour of the kitchen from the manager, and were treated to a free dessert for our anniversary. It was a good night.

Where the magic happens

A representative sample - top sirloin, bottom sirloin, lamb chop, pork rib, beef ancho

And creme brulee for dessert

Absolutely everything is great at this restaurant, go hungry and as the others have said eat a bit of everything, just take your time and try it all.
Feel free to unbuckle your belt a few notches after you've eaten.
PS don't miss the salad bar, it's delightful
