Well all those city council people just sound like some real smart folks don't they.

But seiously - the mayor says this is "naive"? NO, what's naive is thinking that a law is going to stop a criminal from shooting someone or carrying a gun where they are not supposed to. NOW THAT'S NAIVE MAYOR!

How about you just pass a law that makes it illegal to do anything wrong in Hammond. Then you don't have to have all these laws you only need the one that covers everything. I bet all the wrong doing will stop immediately.

Ok folks, I have it DL'd via Keep Tube, took 7.5 minutes for a 294meg file.
I'm not going to try and upload because I'm limited to 512k up and this would be a murderously long upload.

is it just me or is there a big difference between norther and southern indiana? it seems like the farther north you go the more liberal they get.
Hey, leave the folks in NE IN out of this...

Need I remind you where the largest Republican voting city in the state is? (statistic based upon the most recent presidential election)

Technically, the Mayor did ask for it. Idiot.

Technically it was not the mayor that asked for this or is at fault. It was the city council as they failed to pass a new set of rules in their meeting to strike-out the illegal ordianances. So since they failed to that the Mayor had nothing to sign/veto. Now granted the Mayor would have vetoed it but he did not get a chance to.

For shame Jedi! I met you at the July NWI INGO shoot! :wavey:

So you are samuel??? Last I checked you are sdman11890. :D

Reading the comments on the Hammond Times someone said "Schererville next."
:dunno: Does schereville have some type of gun ordinance that is now illegal as well?
