This thing is a no win situation forever!

If you're born in Gaza your born into an open air prison. You have no passport. You can't go anywhere. Nobody will take you in even if Israel or Egypt allow you to leave. Egypt secures the border on the south. Israel impedes all trade to the east, west, and north. So these folks can't even trade with anyone, not that they have much to trade.

Yes, Hamas was elected. Almost 20 years ago. No elections since. And Hamas will brutalize or kill anyone who challenges them. So the folks living there either "join" Hamas to get a job or it sucks. Much like having to join the communist party under the Soviet Union to get a real job.

The Israeli's and Egyptians hate them. They (Gazan's) hate them back. If we were born there we'd hate them too. Imagine being born in a :poop:hole that you cannot leave and there's basically one country (Israel) that won't let you travel north, east or west.

The "best" solution as I see it is to forcefully move everyone out of Gaza and split the territory evenly between Egypt and Israel. But nobody wants the Gazans so where would you put 2.4 million people? The best mathematical split would be for 48 countries to take 50,000 people. The USA could do this easily. 1,000 per state. Our demographics are declining so this wouldn't be bad, plus 1,000 per state would be insignificant statistically. But we don't want them and we're fairly liberal.

This solution will never be implemented so no point going farther.

Even if Israel kills every hostile member of Hamas it won't matter. People are still being born in a :poop:hole and not allowed to leave. So no matter what happens people will still be po'd at Israel and Egypt.

If Israel would allow some degree of open trade by sea perhaps(?) Gaza could develop some sort of low skilled industrial build out eventually(?) moving into medium skilled jobs. Improve(?) education, etc. But Israel won't do this even though in the long run it would benefit Israel.

Or Egypt could allow land transport to the south, but they won't do this either.

So it's a forever war. Gazans will continue to hate and try to kill Israelis and I don't really blame them. Israelis will continue to hate Gazans and I don't really blame them.

    It just sucks.

    Regards,

    Doug
    Can't leave?
    There are thousands of
Palestinians in the United States and other countries.
I feel sorry that they elected and support and cheer Hamas. If they didn't like them they would not have been on the streets cheering them back when they were killing innocent people in Israel.
They can't go anywhere because no one wants them they are trouble makers wherever they go.

Israel is fixing the Palestinians mistake by taking out Hamas.

Trade wise Israel left them over 3,000 greenhouses to grow and export food. They destroyed them.
They could have been exporting food.

Simple solution, the GAZA "Palestinians" unconditionally surrender. Until they do, kill them and break their things.

Israel can turn any unused territory into a Mediterranean resort.

Half of the Palestinians were born after Hamas took power and were raised with Hamas brainwashing them. If the World really wanted things to change there, they would force out Hamas and see that the children were not taught hate like they are.

The length of time since the election doesn’t change the fact they chose their leadership. Their poor choice has sealed the fate of generations. If they really cared for the suffering of their people, they would now chose to not procreate. Most of them have Jordanian heritage. Send them there forcibly.
several 2 state solution offers have been made. The response makes it clear that they only want the elimination of Israel. It’s clear that there is no peace going forward as long as there is breath left in gaza. Sorry. There’s only 1 solution other than giving all the territory back to hamas and everyJew leaving the territory.
    No need to apologize.

Um, yeah I'm on board with that. Israel has gone out of its way to placate these assbags who want to see them dead. They don't want a separate state carved out of someone else's country, they just want the Jews gone. Pave your own way, by any means necessary. I think the Israelis have been far more accommodating than I would have been....for a long time now.

The high brow West are applying their typical mindset of (gasp) empathy for the dark-skinned oppressed.

Third world religious zealots that believe in slavery, rape and subjugation by sword only understand the brutality of the sword. Therefore, the message sent by Israel needs to be as brutal as possible.

For being in an existential fight, the Israelis have exhibited a fair amount of restraint, more than I'd show given we're only three generations removed from the Final Solution. No operation will be perfect but every voluntary/involuntary muscle action by the Israelis gets scrutinized by the elitist educated West.

As far as the innocents, I agree with Doug from a page or two back. Life is so horrible for people in Gaza, that I don't imagine many don't hate Israel. It's not Israel's fault. It's the fault of the Palestinian mafia dons that have robbed those poor people blind. They have no hope and nothing to look forward to. Israel understands that and is administering the task of annihilating Hamas.

Will Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia throw a party for Israel and lavish them with praise? No. Will they shed tears for Hamas? No. This might be the tricky contingencies of the Abraham Accords. Israel assumes the risk in taking out Hamas. The Arab nations/kingdoms/Gulf States reap the rewards of keeping the Gazan Arabs in Gaza.

Once Israel eradicates Hamas, it should be on the Saudis and the emirs of the Gulf States to put their money where their mouths are and provide supplemental assistance to the stabilization of Gaza. This should only take place, of course, after the accounts of the Palestine mafia dons are liquidated and applied towards the day to day needs of Gazan innocents, as was originally intended.

The Palestinians are largely innocents trapped in an open air prison? Hardly.

They voted for Hamas to lead them. They teach their children to hate the Jews. Kindergarten graduations include plays of the students acting out them murdering other students in the role of the Israelis.

And why wont their fellow Muslim neighbors help? They have tried in the past and been burned. They are the equivalent of stereotypical white trash and eastern Euro Gypsies; Only in it for themselves and damn everyone else. This bears repeating.

I wont go so far as to say "kill all the Palestinians" but is there another way when the hatred is so deeply engrained? How do we deprogram the "innocents"?

Spot on. Israel recognizes this and they are the only ones willing to donwhat it takes. Deprogramming means eliminating Hamas and starting all over.

It means nation building, but not in the failed American 21st Century sense, more like post WWII West Germany. Use regional partners and their capital - the KSA, Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait. Arab Sunni Muslims.

Those nations stand to benefit from a strong Israel and a weak Iran. It can be done with their money. No American blood or treasure need be spent. They want to be considered regional players or powers. This is their chance.

Let Israel eradicate Hamas. Arab Muslim nations help rebuild/create infrastructure and the economy. Logistics can be handled in two or three hour flights. No deployments. No American M-I-C. No $12/gallon diesel fuel. No forward operating bases. The Saudis have the energy. The Gulf States have the capital. Let the Egyptians help secure and guard their border. Let the Israeli secure their border.

We rebuilt Japan and Western Europe. The Arabs can rebuild Gaza OR THEY CAN TAKE THE TRASH AND THE HEADACHE, HIGH MAINTENANCE DRAMA AND VOLATILITY THAT COMES WITH IT.

For people that "can't trade with anyone," they sure seem to have a lot of weapons, ammo, and concrete to make tunnels. Everyone seems to be well-fed. They have lots of money for fake blood to apply to children and plenty of resources to move them around to get photos of them in various dire circumstances.

Anything the Gaza Health Ministry says I give the same credibility I give to HuffPost and Salon. But our regime media transmits it like fact.

Hamas as an organization has certainly made some people very rich. As long as those guys are in charge of the money generating machine and investing those dollars with other members of the big club, don't expect anything to change.

Their dogs will always need new Armani.

Another Palestinian that somehow escaped his prison, and came to America to start a different life then found some Jewish people, and couldn't get past his hate the Jews classes he was taught all his life with UN help, and American taxpayers money supporting it.

And why is his a** not on a one-way flight to GAZA?

Why do we need to spend that much taxpayer money, when we could get him to his destination for less than a dollar and as fast as 3270fps?
Maybe if he goes back to that home, and man he attacked he might just find out America's are armed unlike October 7th victims.
He may find out and get sent on that one way trip.
