I got a laugh from the internet video of the three top guys in hamas living the high life on donation money, but then thought this is why the conflict will never end. Money pouring in to provide supplies for people in gaza gets diverted into the hamas money machine in large quantities. That money gets reinvested in merchant banks and investment firms around the world, places with solid connections to leadership making decisions about where tax money goes. Too many people making a good living off of this, that it's never going to end.
