Are you assuming he is responsible for all of it?
    Most, yes.

Had he graciously stepped back like everyone else who ever lost an election and Russia been debunked like it was, and then the laptop been realized to be real in the left-wing media, then the hysteria would not be his fault. He went on a reckless lie fest post-election, and J6 was the result. Nobody else made him press people to vote differently as electors or to find ballots or to stash docs in Mar A Lago. He is the king of unforced errors.

The best of the CoC republicans could not have said it better. :lmfao:

The establishment caused the chaos, illegal surveillance, attacks on his cabinet, were just a couple of examples. That the insurrection in DC in 2016 was certainly a chaos. That you believe Trump creates “most” of the chaos is unreal.

I wouldn’t say creates most. Contributes to much of it is probably more accurate.

Which of that chaos you mention would be clouding 2024 had he acknowledged he lost in November of 2020?

He didn’t even need to acknowledge it. The stop the steal thing was all about reinstating him. That was never going to happen, and if he would not have taken that path, he would probably be unstoppable at this point. J6 would never have happened. Those trying to take him off the ballot or actually doing it would have had to concoct an even wilder plan.

The chaos indeed comes from the left. Clearly. But Trump too often gives them low effort gems like the fake electors, and rallies in which they can instigate a riot and then call it an insurrection. As successful as that was I’m not sure the right can even hold massive demonstrations anymore without agitators in the crowd working to turn it violent. The J6 riot was 100% a win for Democrats because they could plausibly tie the riot they instigated to Trump’s idiotic plan to get Pence to call the election for him.

I can think of at least a dozen ways Trump has shot himself in the foot. I wish someone could have talked some sense into him after he lost the election.

Goes back to Trump being a victim and poor old Trump. The left won’t be fair, they will do what they do. He has to do better with what he can control.

This is rich, not one republican President in my lifetime did ANYTHING “with what he can control”.

Trump did more, under far greater pressure than all of them combined, but for you it is not enough…

Goes back to Jamil’s post. Trump shot himself in the foot a dozen times or more in a bad way and refuses to ever acknowledge a mistake or defeat.

Trump got some stuff done, but he wasn’t a miracle worker.

    Miracle worker.

And people wonder why some people think Trumpe has a cult following.
Stop trolling. Calling people cult members is trolling and name calling. Stop it.

It really is not a miracle to anyone that understands economics, it was the most prosperous years of my working life. If those were not the best financial years for people then they are not engaging in purely capitalist endeavors because most ships went up with the tide.

But whining trolls want to throw around cult slurs to folks the so want to get back to those financial times while stocking the courts with more conservative judges, and neutering or eliminating the leftists in government…

But we're not talking about accomplishments. We're talking about how Trump has helped create all this chaos against him. Just two things played differently by Trump and chaos around J6/insurrection would never have been possible. That chaos caused him to be banned on social media, impeached again, a mockumentary called the J6 commission was aired 24/7. Many conservatives who supported Trump dumped him because of all that.

I'm not counting him out. He may win the big boy chair back. But it will be despite his missteps and not because of them. Trump's inauguration could have been a nearly foregone conclusion without all the fear and rage porn genned up because of J6/insurrection.

With inflation, open borders, prospect of WW3 looming, our kids being groomed, etc., a generic republican, in normal times, would be up on Biden by 25 points one would think.
