replace Hornadyini with Hornadini and it would flow off the tongue easier. so what?

You are so blind you simply refuse to see anything but what you want to see. I didn't say a damn thing about sharing the wealth, you and yours steered it this way.

Try reading my first post in this ridiculous excuse for a debate.

Have you done any personal lobbying or not?
Why is this the thing everyone sidesteps? Is it because they don't because they are afraid they will be "On the Radar??

Ridiculous Tinfoil hat crap if you ask me but you keep the campaign of obfuscation going and no one will notice.

Divided we fall and your way only divides.

Replace guns and ammo with 401k's and IRA's. Would the share the wealth crowd say we should share our 401k's and IRA's with those who's employers didn't offer retirement savings plans or just couldn't afford to contribute to one? If we want to keep our retirement plans from being nationalized, we must hang together and help each other out.

What's so damn frustrating with all these gouging and hoarding threads is people will scream bloody murder at anything that Obama and the dems do as bring socialist but when it comes to guns and ammo, it's time to share the wealth.

furthermore, did you see anywhere in there where I asked anyone to share because I don't make a lot of money? Or did you just get all caught up in another chance to say what you say over and again without ever reading anything. All you do is stir the stuff so you can keep folks divided.

If I were someone like you, I'd have to wonder what your motives really were here?
Are you a sort of disinformation officer for the Obama intelligentsia or do you actually read the posts you reply to then for some odd reason, say the same thing no matter how non sequitur it seems?

I am really and truly done in this and all threads like it.
We, as a group, deserve to get our asses stomped by legislation. We're too dumb as a group not to loose.

Humans are what they are and changing them by teasing and taunting works well, right?

Missing all the rest of my post by being superior little survivors.

¥ou are all model shooters, we hang together...

I'm going to have a crate of tissues airlifted in to you. I have no sympathy for those that do not prepare. It's no one elses fault but their own.

Uh, isn't the thread title about sharing ammo? You want to talk about gun legislation, start a thread about it.

You got me. I'm really David Axlerod.

I really am Gary Diana and I can't understand how you singled me out, a guy making a political statement, and then attacked him on a different subject altogether. I suppose this is yur way of saying I don't understand what you're saying, it's beyond me so take it somewhere else, right?

Had yu said that or even something like it that aloowed you to save face, I would have done just that but I think this rebuttal should take care of anything else I had on the subject of mocking folks to make the act the way you want them to act. That has always worked and so it should be done and done often.

I'm not following your purpose in this thread. This thread is about sharing ammo. You seem to be taking issue with anyone and everyone who doesn't agree with sharing and yet you say you're not here to talk about sharing. You're rambling on about writing letters o congress and that we're all screwed. What are you taking issue with exactly and why did you pick this thread to say it?

I don't care if you're Billy Bob Thorton. Why do you keep posting your name like it makes a difference o the topic at hand? Are you really done here or are you gonna come back for a third time?

The real root of the problem is that we as americans rarely have to go without. I am guilty of that at times but then I remeber when I was a kid and didnt get what I wanted and that taught me to have control.

I do have ammo put back (.22 ect. ect.). If I feel that the prices are too high I dont buy plain and simple.

May I ask without causing too big of a stir, how many of you have done any writing, calling or emailing your D.C. representation? Maybe you have visited them in their offices?

    OR

Do you just send a few extra bucks to some lobby group when stuff like this goes on?

Not that I have any idea what this has to do with the topic at hand, but 10% of my gun budget goes to GOA and now the NRA now that I have rejoined, and in the last six months I have written over forty letters to various representatives. Actual letters, not emails. I have sent well over three hundred emails on gun related issues, and I have made 17 calls to my representatives.

I have also personally introduced, for free and with me providing the ammo, seven people to shooting, four of whom now own their first gun and three of whom have joined the NRA.

I have also voted in every single election since I was old enough.

I THINK that gives me the right to an opinion.

I must say. I don't have a Hugh stock like some of you but I feel that about 2000+ rounds of .223 and 1000ish of 9mm and 4500ish of 22lr or good for me until c hit settles down. I stop every where I c and by ammo if they have for any of my guns. I say it's hard to find but if JUST if u put time in it you can find at normal prices. Just my 2 cent

I agree, if you can put in the time you will find what you need at normal prices. Unless you shoot things like 300blk

OK, Ingo members, We do need to share Some ammunition.
Check with your local 4H and boy scout groups that put on
shooting programs. Many times these are run and funded by
volunteers. No ammunition, no shooting programs for the kids.
    Please help if you can.

I have been willing to share to some extent. I got a call from my brother who had a friend looking for 1 box of 9mm. I was able to help at my cost. Today I picked up the last 3 boxes of 9 a dealer had and was looking at their 22LR stock and a guy buying a 9mm gun came to the ammo looking for some so I gave him one of the boxes I had. Tonight I went and supported a fund raiser for the Friends of the NRA to support kids shoot leagues and shoot sports. So some of us do try and give back and are not only looking out for ourselves. What goes around comes around so treat others the way you want to be treated.

I tried to stock up as much as I can. I don't have a huge supply, but I have just enough 9mm to take 2 training classes, and do a little plinking. The rest is for just in case there's another class that comes up I want to take.

For 5.56/.223, I don't have a lot. I stocked up as much as I could, but I am afraid to shoot my newly built AR because I don't have THAT much ammo. And it sucks, since I have only shot 100 rounds thru it. I want to shoot it more.

I want to take an Appleseed. But I didn't stock up on .22lr. I only have one 550 round box that's partially full.
When I can afford to attend an Appleseed that's close, I'm hoping to post a WTB ad for some .22lr that is just enough to take the class.

As for sharing ammo, I a couple hundred rounds of 9mm to my brother, at less cost than what I paid for. Why? Because our parents bought him a Glock 19 for Christmas so he has a way to protect him, his girlfriend, and their new daughter. He had to sell all his guns last summer to pay off hospital bills. So I sold him ammo so he can practice a bit. My Christmas gift to him was ammo, by the way.

I'll make you the same offer, I made to someone else, on another thread, I'll sell you a 550 Fed. bulk pack, for what I have in it ..... $22.00

Ok, you are COMPLETLEY missing my point. I am not talking about a "Bob and Jim" story. Read my above statement and what i described, if someone is stupid and blows their money on the things you describe then that is a whole different story, but if a man wants to teach a person to shoot and cant do so due to a ammo shortage that is different and i think we sould help him out with a little ammo so somebody dosnt go around with a gun they dont know how to properly shoot and end up hurting someone. This is not a post about ignorant people not prepping but about being helpful americans and fellow gun owners..

I don't think anyone "missed your point" as you say. I have bought and stored firearms and ammo, and components for reloading for many years. Could I share - sure - but why? I am not "rich", I drive a 15 year old car, pay all my bills on time and sometimes have made a decision to stay home, instead of going out for dinner in the past.

I see people all the time that say they can't afford something, then look in their driveway at the new car or truck. Later see it parked at a restaurant, while they are inside talking or texting on a $400 phone.

They make the decision as to what is important to them, not me. I OWE them nothing. Yes I have many thousand of rounds of many calibers, and reloading components for many thousands more, no one gave me any! NO, I will not share and let the people that NOW think it is a priority to have ammo. Much of the 22 LR that I purchased were bricks at less than $20 - some much less. Surely they could have set $10 a week back and bought 2 bricks a month!

I also have freezers of food, home paid for etc. This was accomplished by doing without and setting priorities that were important to me and my family. These people do not really NEED the rounds right now, they WANT them. Maybe after this is over, and the prices drop to near normal, they will remember and start stockpiling. Their lack of foresight does not my emergency make!

I love how people conflate socialism with anything they don't like, including the ultimate irony, capitalism.

I've got your fair price for ammo - what people are willing to pay in the open market.
