    Never used, or, for that matter, heard of Google shopping. Don't know why I even read through this thread, I obviously don't care.

    I did, however, post in this thread.:yesway:

    It's odd. A search for AR15 returns nothing, but AK47 returns plenty. AR15 lower returns results as well. I'm wondering if this, in fact, has anything at all to do with any sort of activism on Google's part.

    So...you were saying?

    Meh, I get no results using Firefox searching for Springfield XD9 in the shopping section. I am not going to d/l Chrome just to see.
    Glad it still works for you though, but according to the links in the thread it will not last for long because firearms are a prohibited category in the new improved shopping experience.

    Nice try but I'm done with the OT comments. :cool:

    There's no "nice try" to it. I was pointing out (what happens to be a personal pet peeve of mine) a commonly misquoted quote.
    A lot of people say "I could care less"... which actually means you still care enough to have some wiggle room to downgrade your amount of care.

    The actual saying is "I couldn't care less"...which actually means you're at the rock bottom of giving any sort of crap at all. No room to downgrade, you're at the bottom of the care barrel and you literally could not possibly care any less.

    :)

    Google: "Our goal is to help users find merchants that offer excellent shopping experiences."

    Well, I just had an "excellent shopping experience" I searched Google Shopping for Dildo... works fine, lasts a long time:D

    So much for their "Goal"

    Maybe it's time for me to try the Safari or Opera browser and Yahoo search engine. Not sure what I would consider as an alternative to Android, though.

    If it's a browser issue, then why does my browser allow some 1911 things and not other 1911 things? I used the same browser on the same computer, just minutes apart in search time;
    I first tried with Frontier's suggestion of "Colt 1911", which indeed hit a "no match" block when I clicked "shopping".
    Then I typed in "1911 slim grips", clicked "shopping" and got pages of them.
    :dunno:

    Un.be.liev.able. Glad I saw this thread, I would have been so confused. Google shopping for guns accounts for half of my internet activity. I'm stunned and disappointed.
