    THE STAGES -- 3 different ones…

A Stage is a group of targets that you shoot at while the timer is running. There are 3 Stages that you will shoot.

5 to GLOCK will have 5 cardboard targets. For each String, most Divisions* engage each target with exactly 2 shots. You will shoot 3 Strings for 3 times. These get added up and that is your time for this Stage. The targets are then scored, and any accuracy penalties are added to the time, giving you your Total Score for 5 to GLOCK. You start with 11 rounds in your gun (7 for Pocket GLOCK and Major Sub., which only engage cardboard with 1 round each.)

GLOCK ‘M has 4 cardboard and usually 1 steel target. Here, you engage each cardboard target with exactly 2 shots each, and hit the steel target 1 time per string. You start with 11 rounds in your gun (7 for Pocket GLOCK and Major Sub. , which only engage cardboard with 1 round each). 8 shots for cardboard leaves 3 rounds available to hit the steel plate ONCE. Like 5 to GLOCK, you will shoot 3 Strings for 3 times. These get added up and that is your time for this Stage. The targets are then scored, and any accuracy penalties are added to the time, giving you your Total Score for GLOCK ‘M. Missed steel adds 10 seconds each.

GLOCK the Plates is 4 strings shot at a “Plate Rack” which has 6 steel plates, each 8 inches in diameter. You start with 11 rounds in your gun. (7 for Pocket GLOCK and Major Sub.) Use between 6 and 11 (or 7) rounds as necessary. Here you will shoot 4 strings, for 4 times. These get added up and that is your time for this Stage. Plates that do not fall add 10 seconds each. (Rimfire and .380 are "Ring and Paint"

The Grand Total of these 3 Stages is your Match Score.

*10 of the Divisions fire 2 rounds at each cardboard target. Major Sub and Pocket GLOCK Divisions will fire 1 round per cardboard target. Steel targets are similar for all 12 Divisions.

You can thus travel around the Range with your friends and shoot the Stages in any order you like.

GSSF Membership is $35 per year, with discounts for multi-year payments. Each Division you enter is $30.

Food is served for the Volunteer Staff, and may POSSIBLY be available for sale to competitors; but please bring your own snacks, water, etc.
