Cant believe i'm posting my source on here. freedommunitions.com has some of the best deals on the web right now. And the ammo (even the blaster cheapo stuff is way way better than WWB) is superb. if they are sold out tomorrow i blame all of you.

Saw quite a bit of .223 at Greenwood (Emerson) Walmart. Some 40, 45, in Winchester. 1 Box of 40 Federal. Several boxes of 40 and 9mm Tula.
Gander had a lot of stuff, but at Gander prices.
    No .22lr in either store.

+1 to this. superb ammo. Bought over 1k 9mm a few months back and have been VERY pleased with that stuff.

Picked up some bulk .22LR (550) at WM this morning and it was gone before a friend checked it a couple of hours later. That ammo-can.net site works. Just realize that it can report on stuff that isn't on the shelf yet because it started listing the 550 box yesterday after I'd already stopped by for something else (and checked the shelves). It did, however, come out this morning.

Hey everyone, just got done at the Muncie wally on 332. They have some .40 and a TON of AE 5.56 battle packs. 150 round for like $68 if i'm not mistaken. If you want some, I'd hurry up before Mcgalliard Guns buys em' and marks them up to $100

After the latest price increase...I don't even bother with Walmart ammo anymore. Better handgun ammo can be had online for the same price or cheaper (9mm might be the exception), and their 223/556 is mostly overpriced.

Federal 100rnd bulk packs at walmart are
    25$ for 9mm
    32$ for .40
    38$ for .45
Theyre prices went up, when THE prices went up, not when they saw a chance to milk a crisis for profit, like most retailers.

And since you know the pricing...you probably know that Federal Champion & WWB are towards the bottom of the list in terms of accuracy and cleanliness. I'm not necessarily anti-Walmart, but I'll take Speer, S&B, Magtech or Geco over what they sell anyday at the same price. The $32/100 price on 40s/w is untouchable, but the stores never ever have it.

    All that aside, here's a good deal on quality 5.56: ADI 5.56mm 62gr FMJ SS109 W/Ammo Can 900 Rnds - JEK Inc
Comes out to $368 shipped for 900rds in blisters w/ 50cal ammo can.

Yup, thats a good price. I personally, am not going to war, and am not a professional, so I dont mind the lack of "accuracy and cleanliness" found in federal bulk..
The fact that theyre not on the shelf has nothing to do with whether they are cheaper or not.
I bought a 100rnd box of federal .40, last month. Its out there, and the fact that its so hard to find is directly related to the fact that the price wasnt jacked up any more than the market dictated.

I never said you were anti walmart, but when you say you stopped buying ammo there, because they increased the price, I found that a bit ridiculous, because they still, for the most part, have the cheapest ammo found locally.

Post Road and Pendleton Pike in Indy (East Side) KS&E Sports, 9mm, .380, .40,.45 for pistols, no .22, reasonable prices, revolver ammo too in .357 and .38. Did not check for rifle or shotgun ammo. You can buy in BULK, no limit. Tell ED his ol Army Buddy BRUCE sent ya for a good deal. 1-317-899-1040.

I will be buying another case of 9mm around Veterans day.
