Wrigley Sales on Lima in Fort Wayne had an excellent stock of ammo this afternoon at 4PM. Nearly everything you could want - thousands of rounds of 9mm (Winchester bulk paks & others) along with many other calibers. Even noticed 22 LR on the shelves. There was a crowd gathering, so I wouldn't wait too long if you want any!
I picked up a box of the Winchester 9mm 100rnd bulk. I looked at the 22LR they had and it said it was shot shells unless I missed something. About four guys in there when I went in and at least 12 when I left. The guy behind the counter told another customer that they had a 5 box limit.

There were 3 boxes left of Winchester PDX1 9mm at 7PM at Walmart on E. Washington after I bought 3 boxes. It was the only handgun ammo they had.
    20rd boxes @ $22.47 each

I was hoping after the 1500 we'd start to see ammo at walmart for more than 20 minutes at a time. Bad dream....

You seemed to be basing that assumption the false idea that the ammo shortage is caused by "ammo flippers".

The ammo is in short supply because demand is up. Plain and simple.

The 9mm PDX-1 is good carry ammo, hate to shoot the good stuff, but last week, I changed out my carry ammo and sent a whole lot of .40 HST down range.

Thanks Boring2u. Now three more boxes of 7.62x39 in hand. They had them above the $7.37 tag but rang at $5.17 b4 taxes. Total for the three boxes was $16.60. Good way to start the day.

Is there a reason to change out your carry ammo?

Is there a reason to change out your carry ammo? Is there concern that it might get stale or something? (I try to learn something new every day)

K&T Guns in New Haven has a decent selection of ammo available at good, near-prepanic prices. I saw Ruger 10/22 mags. glock mags, 45acp ammo, 40S&W ammo, 223, 308. No 22LR though.
