Get Yelled at for buying a gun?!?

Part of it stems from not being able to get the wife on board with my love for guns... but that a whole other thread...

What do you hear the most when you bring home a new firearm?

Mine: What do you need another one for, they all do the same thing!!!
Response: Just like all those different utensils from pampered chef!

Since I do almost all of the cooking (I'm better, what can I say?) the Pampered Chef excuse doesn't work for me since they are mine.:D

    My reasoning?

    1. Purses
    2. Shoes
    3. Too good of a deal to pass up, if I feel like selling it, I'll make a profit (I never sell:laugh:)

Spasmo usually says "What do you mean you only bought one? What am I supposed to shoot?"

Mine: But your gun was $600 and my cookie sheet was $40. On top of that I'll make you cookies with it. What will our $600 gun do for me?

I hear the same stuff too.

    "That looks like the others"
"Do you think the world is ending"
"You dont live in the city anymore"

So in turn i just buy her and the kids something when i make a new purchase and usually my new purchase just goes ignored.

I claim they are all investments :) like my yugo full stock. Thes are hard to come by and go for around 8-900. But I only paid 400 a few years ago. They went up due to lack of kits to build them from.

My mom likes to yell at me tho. But again the investments argument works on her too

I use to do the investment argument, But that ended up biting me in the butt when we were strapped for cash and I wanted to go to the gun show so I pretended that I was going to sell my yugo Uf and when I came home with it she was more then upset that it was still with me lol
