Canned a small portion of our tomatoes yesterday. Happy to have some of them stored, so much more to go.
    Nice look maters.
My San Marzino’s are plenty but they are a pain to process. The Amish paste all thou a bit more water in them produce 4 to five times the amount of meat per fruit. I spent both Sunday football games processing at the kitchen sink. The Amish paste were like butchering the San marzinos were like filets.

I have pulled all tomatoes (paste) plants this weekend also. They were done (I was done) for the year still have the Cherokee purple (nasty looking things) and the little Fourth of July going strong and cherries.

Fellas...when do I start pulling up the sweet potatoes? A couple are surfacing above the dirt in the past week!

I'm north of Indy, south of Kokomo.

I ran into a volunteer kale plant and decided it could go into the Greenstalk. Bottom few layers of the Greenstalk planter have been empty all year, after I killed off all the strawberries in it. :xmad:

While doing that, I decided to sprinkle Giant Nobel spinach seeds, some ChicPoo and composted manure to top off the cells. We will see...
