Man I really hate people who can show no respect for a persons last ride to the cemetary. Went to funeral Monday and we had to travel on a 4 lane divided SR for a few miles. Had a few cars pass by, one some toad on the phone and one a construction type white PU with two dirtbags. I did the obligitory salute to them but IF there were ever people who need to be thumped on the head to get some manners its jackoffs like this. :xmad:

I dont understand your frustration? do you want the whole world to mourn with you? I hate funeral processions. they suck, and always go right through the middle of a busy city right at the worse times. i have been a part of them, and i dont blme people for passing. The only reason they get an escort is to keep the mass of cars together and not have an accident because of the grieving people driving like idiots in their grief. It has nothing to do with respect as for the reason for the escort.
I guess Im a jackoff and proud of it.

Yup. I could care less about who's in the hearse. And I hope they pass me when I am rolling to my hole.

maybe someday someone will show me the light by saying **** you with their hand.

Someday you will grow up and see the light on your own. Maybe. Someday when someone dies that you think enough of you may get it. Respect for others is something you seem to not understand.

As the rest of the crowd seems to not understand that funerals are really not for the dead. Its just too much for todays children to grasp that the world is not all about them.

death is a part of life. i feel bad for people who lose a loved one. but then when i see them fight over the money they will inherit then i wonder where all their grief suddenly went?

you getting all teary eyed over this and throwing birds to people driving down the road, makes me think you need to look in the mirror. When i die, the greatest symbol of respect my family could give me would be to drop my dead corps from a c-130 over washington DC and hope my dead body hits some dumb ass lawmaker as my final eff you.

I just dont understand that someone who outwardly seems smart enough to understand what respect means just doesnt get it. But sociopaths come in all flavors I understand. The funeral in question was for a in law and not that close to me personaly but she was a nice old gal. It is just a simple display of humanity and respect for immidate family and the fact its such a simple thing to do just bogles the mind. I actually remember years ago being in a procession seeing a guy who was on his way to drill that had not only stoped but got out, in BDUs stand outside his car and salute.

When 99% of the public understand and show respect, it says a lot about those who dont.

I have never heard of anyone doing this, ever.

You seriously expect people to stay out of an empty lane because a convoy is passing through to go plant their dead relative?

Are you throwing up the bird to the people in the opposing lanes too?

Grow up!!! It's not illegal or disrespectful to pass a funeral procession. If you want to talk about dirtbags who cut into or through the procession, now that's another story. I'm sorry for your loss, but don't expect the entire world to come to a screeching halt because of it.

Like I said. It was 5 minutes worth of drive and 99% of the cars got it. The other 1% didnt. I guess maners have gone out of style.

    and airplanes that fly overhead?

Man I hope when you get a little more grown up you have to deal with the same kind of disrespect. I just wonder at this point constitutes disrespect for the dead to you.
One more thing,, how do you feel about about the "church" that protests at military funerals cause of thier beliefs about gays?? Or are you even aware of it

youre pretty big on class and respect. remember this gem?

Showed up this mng for a USPSA match at the local club and lo and behold there was a van with a half dozen osama bumper stickers on it. There were only a few folks standing around and I said out loud "who is the moron with the osama stickers!?!".
I actually figured some anti had showed up to do research.

Then the club pres showed up and I pointed it out and said WTF is up with this poop!!,, then some wormy little guy pops around and babbles its his and do I have a problem with it and I said YES I do have a problem with it. He said something about it being a free country and the pres told him not for long with the current situation.
I was watching and waiting for the little toad to say something else cause I was going to unload on him (verbally) but he moved back around the van. I made a loud comment to the effect of F that piece of,, well you know,,
He got in his van with a couple kids and left.

I found out this monkey sack is actually a club member. Now I dont care who you vote for but a osama supporter being a member of a gunclub is one of those things that make you go, HUH?
I know for a fact that a local shop has told folks who show up in cars with osama stickers to leave.

Does anyone else have osama backers at thier clubs or events??
