That reminds me, I had a pot bellied pig for one day. That's definitely the last pig I'll have in my house.

    Yea!
the pig would have no idea what else i had in the house.

I really dont need this garbage in my thread!

Thanks for all that answered, and also the JBT humor.

The last thing I would want is to be unarmed after an attack
in my home, thats the reason for the thread.

A legit concern but understand it will depend on what happens.

Is there a warrant to scoop up the rest of your guns?

Is a condition of your bond that you not possess firearms?

Is there a protectiver order sought by the fellow human being that was injured barring you from possessing firearms?

Are you in the county jug without bond?

    Lots of "what ifs".

If this is really a big concern, simply don't store all your guns at home. Have your mom/dad/brother/sister/aunt/uncle/cousin/friend/whoever else you can trust hold on to a couple of weapons for you.

    Problem solved.

A bank box costs me $24/yr and will hold a pistol and box of ammo easily.

JB357MAG posted a ligament question and it would concern me. I've never been arrested, have a family, and live in INDY. The way things are going (have you seen the news about the scandals?) it looks like I need to rethink this beyond government confiscation attempts. I'm sure that Frank is joking but....... Good carpentry skills looks more and more like a plus, yes? Private sales even look more appealing then ever.

"the pig" really? There has been a little boarder pushing cop nick name related banter in this thread but c'mon? The way your post reads you have no particular cop in mind. In that case your insulting the entire lot of them. not cool!

I've always considered it to be an appropriate acronym, even if the word itself didn't convey the appropriate amount of respect.

The 870 and the Mini-14 are behind the front door. 1911 is in the left hand master bedroom night stand. Glock in the right. The AR-15 is in the hall closet. The Kel-Tec is in the drawer under the living room coffee table. The 700SPS is mounted over the fireplace in the family room. The Beretta and Springfield are hidden in the garage. Not telling where.
