So does anybody have the scoop on how precisely NV does mail voting? Do they carpet bomb ballots to the addresses of every registered voter like PA does?

I'm not a pollster, but it seems to me polls need to ask the question, "Did you already vote?" I see numbers for registered voters and likely voters, but I wonder how pollsters treat the concept of "already did it" voters. It seems their sample error would be significantly less. I don't know if that's an illegal question to ask, or what. But I don't know how you get accurate polls, without attempting to measure, in some way, the votes that were already cast. Am I all wet on this? I would rather see descriptive statistics than inferential, any day.

I can see PA and GA. The RCP poll averages had Oz trailing pretty much from wire to wire, and Walker only got into a statistical lead in the last week or so. But Nevada is different. The RCP poll average had R-Laxalt ahead by over a percentage point, all the way since Labor Day. (Of course, they take that trendline down immediately after the election).

All the Dem candidates in the battleground Senate races outperformed their RCP poll averages by a significant amount. It is clear that average cannot be taken to really mean anything anymore. It would seem that "votes already cast" has to play some role in this. The polls are measuring how people feel right now. But if, as is the case in Arizona, 50% of the people have already voted, how those people feel now is irrelevant. If you're screening those people out, you cannot possibly get an accurate predictive value. Hell, it's possible some of those poll respondents already voted, forgot who they voted for, and totally changed their mind by the time they answered the poll. (Or got their mind changed for them by whoever filled out their ballot...but I'll stay away from that for now).

I don't know why numerous states, such as ours, isn't sueing these states that are bastions of hot beds for voter fraud?

It's one thing for them to suffer in their own socialist swill, another when their corruption changes the structure of the whole country.

It's happened before. Texas v Pennsylvania dismissed as moot. Evidently a state breaking it's own laws and election procedures isn't grounds for SC review. Clown World.

SC seems to take a lot of interest in how states like Texas "protect their voters rights," though. Heh.

But I get it and essentially agree. Until Nevada voters raise hell and file suit, nothing will change. We can't do it for them. The discovery phase itself would be hugely educational for everyone.

Hey, Kari Lake! Got an idea for you...seeing as you won't be too busy for a while...

Dem Senator is ahead in Nevada now.

Don't have a good feeling about Republicans gaining the House, hopefully I'm wrong.
The Democrats have been the only ones gaining seats in the House for the past couple of days. They were at 186 and now they are at 203 while at the same time the Republicans haven't moved one seat from 211.

There are 21 seats left to decide. The way it's been going I'm not even sure that the Republicans will get to 218 before the Democrats now. Won't surprise me a bit if the Democrats get there first and retain the House.

I did a quick count this morning. The majority of the un-called races are in California. Yep. You know what this means. By my count, if the republicans get to 218, it’ll be by a very slim margin.

    Absentee Voting
    Mail In Ballots
    Same Day Voter Registration
    Ballot Harvesting

The GOP needs to come up with a ground game to go on offense or shifting voter demographics and the charisma/record/acumen of candidates will not matter.

The next iteration will be internet voting, phone voting, vote by app because if voter suppression is only allowing one 2-3 votes per person then social justice is allowing people to vote 2-3 times per hour during the new, woke, open three month long Election Season.

Yep. The Jan. 6th commission becomes permanent, like the pandemic emergency.

Will Mark Kelly wear his NASA jacket on the floor of the Senate?

Kind of like the washed up 40 year old high school quarterback still wearing his letter jacket.
When you occupy the John McCain Senate seat from Arizona...a certain level of attachment to the past is expected.

The leftists have successfully created a narrative that anyone who promotes ballot integrity is part of an insurrection…

In an evironment where 80% of folks say the "nation" is on the wrong track, we are told we are to believe folks voted "no change".

Don't **** down my back and tell me it's raining.

Time for the central state to go.
How much of that 80% is people who want single party government, and are pizzed they haven't got it yet?

How many are mad at the Supreme Court over Abortion?

Jan. 6th apparently beat gas prices. No sense sticking your head in the sand.

It's time to get off your silly horse. A majority of people love the central state. It isn't going anywhere. You don't get to abolish something just because you lost control of it. It just sounds like a feckless loser trying to ban a game you can't win.
