This post is confusing to me.

Why would they lie about the trajectory?

And, its been awhile, but 9 ball can be fun. This rock would be like playing the game on a regular pool table, then standing on a ladder and throwing a rock straight down at the table. Pretty easy to figure out that the rock didn't come from the table.

And yes, at a basic level, this really is just a rock from somewhere else in the universe. It got sent on a wild ride, somehow, with a great deal of momentum carrying it through God-only-knows where. And, it has managed to keep from getting sucked into some serious gravity sources along the way.
