it would keep from people tring to start something i think

??? Uh, WhAT? I'm pretty sure no one starts anything with someone when they see that they are openly carrying a gun. Have you any experiance with this???

    :rockwoot: HELLS YEA!!!

What you think? Or what you know? Allow me to clue you in. You don't know squat about me.

What I stated in the other thread was that if you want to maximize your exposure...tie the peaceful walk in with the 1500. You will have gun owners from all over the state in one central location. There will be lots of folks here for the 1500 that probably will not make it another time. It's difficult to drive 200 or 300 miles. Making a second trip in 2 or 3 weeks just won't work for a lot of folks. Top that with taking the march past every TV station in the city.

You could not ask for a better backdrop...IMO. And I was not the only one that felt that way. Several others agreed. 4sarge was one of them...was he trolling as well? Is it short notice? Yep? Could it be done...sure it could.

So rub your crystal ball and let me know what else the little triangle at the bottom tells you about me.

As I stated...and I've stated it openly several times. OC is not for me. I do it for work. When I'm out and about on my time I CC. If OC works for you...great. We simply do not share the same ideas about it. I really do not think that makes me a traitor, a gun-grabber or a communist. Do I want to see you lose the ability to OC? No...because CC would be next on someone's agenda.

Those comments are what alienates you. Who wants to express their opinions when all that happens is they are attacked and ridiculed for their beliefs. :twocents:

Now I understand your post in the March thread. Have no worries, I understand your point. It's all good with me. If you want to CC or NOT OC or CC, that's all fine and good. You are still welcome.

Oh, boys, if you want GOOD looking girls, Brads show club is on Layfette road. It may be a drive, but it's worth it...

I'm of the mindset that our beloved constitution is worded clearly. People either support it as it is written, or they think they know something that the Founding Fathers did not.

If any OC-banners want to initiate a dialogue with me, I'm waiting.

It's what I think. You fancy yourself a snark-meister. That's what I get from reading your posts in all the threads I've read. Trolling is fun for you. What ever saddles your mule. I just pointed it out. Besides that, I don't know much about you. It works for me, too.

So, you want SavageEagle to get people to walk along 38th to Meridian, then to downtown. That's ten miles round trip (more or less) for people to walk, many who are unused to walking far on concrete; unless he can borrow one of IMPD's buses to bring them back to their vehicles. Can they get IMPD escort to at least I-65? What about stragglers? Or those that wear out half-way? How do you plan on getting them back to their vehicles?

Yeah, to me that plan read like high snark.

Passing out literature that day, about a march that day, I could see us supporting, and Ryan (and us) doing. All that other stuff is you having fun at others expense.

Ok guys. this is getting a bit out of hand. PS was mearly suggesting what he thought would be a good idea. The area he suggested is not THAT bad until you cross the north side of 38th st. Trust me, I know the area well. It was a good suggestion in that it coincieded with the 1500. It was not a bad idea, it's just the timing was wrong. Please do not argue about what ideas are good or bad ideas. We all have the same goal here and fighting and name calling is not going to accomplish any of it. While me and PS have had issues in the past, we both see the importance of what we are ALL trying to accomplish here. I welcome and consider all suggestions.

You two need to kiss and make up. I'll buy the first round. If we wish to send a good message we HAVE to stop fighting.

ok. Well, name calling is a bit over the line. I'd say he's not a troll, but I guess that's your opinion. Shooot I offered to buy you two a drink. I thought that fixed all.

right. It's ok. They're entitled to their opinions. I just want to know their reasonings. That's all. Maybe me and the six of them can sit down for a beer, or tea, or whatever they drink and talk about it. Them versus me. I don't mind. If I can stand up to the Brady Bunch face to face I have no problem being civil with these people.

The PRESIDENT of the Brady Bunch at that.

I think concealed carry is better at an event like this. It's true that an unarmed citizen is a victam in waiting, but a picture is worth a thousand words and with the liberal media showing the pictures and explaing them to the sheep it does more to hurt our cause than help it.

So, I've asked this question of others and now I'll ask it of you:

Does history ever show a case where a right was protected by hiding it? Ever?

Yes but have you ever OCed? It seems that those who have never done so have never been asked "Is that legal?" or "Are you a police officer?". You would be SHOCKED to know how many people think carry at all is illegal. Those are the people we are trying to reach.

And as I've said before, if cities, states, Federal .govs try to impose more gun laws, show up to the meetings and oppose. They can't ignore 5000 gun owners saying HELL NO!
