    And the liquor lobby wins again. Looks like their bought and paid for politicians have, once again, managed to do their masters bidding. These poison pill amendments, inserted at the behest of the lobbyists, were the death knell for the bill. Money talks, as usual. I would say it's time to clean up the legislature, but no-one wants to replace the cronies in office. They're happy with them.

    When I worked in a grocery store in Michigan (admittedly, over 25 years ago), we couldn't sell alcohol before noon on Sunday. I imagine that's changed now?

    In Germany, you couldn't dance at a club on a holiday until after midnight. It made someone feel better.

    I'm not sure. I'm either there at about 2:00 pm or 1:30 am. They stop selling alcohol at 2:00 am vs 3:00 am in Indiana.
