73 yo store operator pulls his .38 and they flee in two cars. Police Tahoe is on top of them as they leave the parking lot because one of the cars was stolen and triggered a license plate reader earlier.
Ugly
Police lost them and they got away for now.
But at least the store employees were OK and minimal damage.

Three guys rob a CVS pharmacy, then go next-door to a pizza place and try to rob it. One of the robbers is scuffling with a mom over the cash register when her 14 year old son pulls out a pistol and shoots the robber in the face.
If you watch the X video below, the robber is not looking too chipper after getting shot in the face, but it didn’t kill him. He and his two buddies fled, but the police were able to follow the trail of blood to a nearby subway station, where they found Mr. Noface. At the time of the articles I found from December 2021 they were still looking for the other two.

Zahkee (his name) carjacks someone, then invades a home shooting someone(s) in the face and leg, robs a gas station, and finally tries to rob a mini-mart. Clerk at minimart opens fire and drives Zahkee away, unfortunately unharmed.
He was later caught and charged with attempted murder androbbery.

Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect wanted for several crimes in both Delaware County and Philadelphia.

Two brothers masked, gloved, and armed with pistols try to rob a pizza joint (Man, pizza joints are dangerous places to work in Pennsylvania) at closing time. One of the brothers pistol whipped a customer. When pistol whipper looks away customer pulls a .45 and shoots him in torso, then shoots the other brother in the neck.
Pistol whipping brother, begging for water, dies on the pizza shop floor. Second brother goes to hospital in critical condition but survives. Customer refuses medical treatment for lacerations.
First plot twist: Good guy’s carry permit was recently expired but DA let it slide. "’He is a lifelong, law-abiding citizen and yes, you do get credit for that. A business owner who had the gun solely for his own protection and thank God he did,’ [DA Matt] Weintraub said.”
Second plot twist: The robbers’ guns were airsofts.
Third plot twist: the robbers‘s mother and girlfriend of surviving brother go to the police station a few hours later to ask about the condition of the brother. Pizza store owner is there and he tells the cops “Hey, Those are the two women who came in the shop and left just before the robbery happened”.
Cops investigate, find women were casing the joint for the brothers, and charge the two women with conspiracy to commit a robbery. $2M bail. This ain’t Sorosland, ladies.
Surviving brother and both women were all sentenced to various terms of prison.

First day on the job as a delivery guy, two guys try to rob and car jack 21 yo driver, forced him into backseat of his own car. Somehow he gets out, draws his own gun, and exchanges some shots with the robber who is trying to drive away with his car. Robbers flee on foot, but one of them only gets about 300 yards because he‘s shot in the butt. Delivery driver, who has license to carry, is unscathed.
