I'm pretty sure it's usually dark here in Indy at 515. My alarm doesn't go off until 530, so I tend to not notice.

The only upside to having it get dark as early as it does now is that we got to take the grand kids to see Winterlights at Newfields at 5:30 on Friday evening and got back home at a reasonable (read "early") time for me.

I don't get the big deal. I grew up in a state that observed DST. So we always had it. When I moved to Indiana it seemed strange that we didn't. Now we have it just like 47 other states. No big deal.

Give them time, it's only been 15 years here Took me a while to get used to it when I left Indiana back in the day. Being momentarily confused by darkness that first day was about it.
