    The only upside to having it get dark as early as it does now is that we got to take the grand kids to see Winterlights at Newfields at 5:30 on Friday evening and got back home at a reasonable (read "early") time for me.

    I don't get the big deal. I grew up in a state that observed DST. So we always had it. When I moved to Indiana it seemed strange that we didn't. Now we have it just like 47 other states. No big deal.

    Give them time, it's only been 15 years here :laugh: Took me a while to get used to it when I left Indiana back in the day. Being momentarily confused by darkness that first day was about it.
