    I will be at 3 months exactly since app was turned in when it rolls onto March 5th. Getting kinda frustrated now honestly. Especially seeing people that apply after me getting theirs back already. You would figure chronological scale would work on something like this.

    First, find out if your money order has been cashed. They have 60 days by law to issue or deny your permit. If it's over 60 days, call your state representative. That's why you elected him.

    yes that is correct there is no distinction between open or concealed in Indiana. There are many opinions but you can decide for yourself!

    Personally I prefer concealed and the element of surprise. Also feel if open carrying you could become a target for theft of your weapon. They cannot try to steal what they dont see!

    Applied for mine today, 2-25-09. New issue Lifetime. Yea I know, I forgot and let my old one expire. Oops.

    ETA: Money order cashed on 03-04-09.

    ETA2: License issued 4/20/2009. Received 4/23/2009

    I applied to upgrade my current CCW to a Lifetime Permit back in early December. I ALREADY had a license, not to mention a DoD and DHS security clearance and it STILL TOOK 3 months to get it back!!! Got it last week.
