I was told 4-6 weeks if you do the paper route, much less if you did the L1. I did the L1 40 days ago. I'll take my $10 back lol.

If you did L1 49 days ago and still havent r'cvd your LTCH, something is very wrong..

Well my local pd took 28 days to send it to ISP. What sucks is like an idiot I keep checking the mail as if it were going to show up some day.

I hope she was just misinformed.

That's a load of crap, bordering on illegal in a "Shall Issue" state..

If you didnt go the L1 route, she might be right.. just hope your local PD is better than Toolepqk's

that sounds like the most logical reason for delay, the local PD or Sheriffs dept sitting on the authorization....which could easily account for why so many people have such different experiences

I got my permit last year and recieved it in less two weeks.

Recieved my permit on Friday which made it exactly 2 weeks from L1.

Today will be 30 days going the old fashion route. Hoping it shows up in the next week or two.

Once I paid my local fees it took me 12 days. I just got it last week.

I started the L1 process on January 19, 2012 and completed the process at the Hendricks County Sheriff's office on January 20, 2012.

I received my LTCH permit on February 3, 2012. A total of 15 days start to finish.

Just spoke with someone at the ISP Firearms division. They are telling me 14 business days after they receive it from the local police to receive the permit. I was told by the St Joseph county police admin about a week using L1. So I think it's safe to assume about 3 weeks start to finish.

Noblesville. It could have been much quicker but they took their sweet time running the background check.

Funny how when i bought my gun at the 1500, i was 6th in line and they told me 30 min. but these guys can't get one done with in a week.

I had to mail it in myself. I paid the local PD 50 bucks to watch me play with ink. Why do I feel like that place is a daycare??
