Mine took about 12 weeks but at the time I didn't realize the process would be expedited if you submitted your finger prints electronically. Not knowing any better, I went to the city-county building and they created hard copies of my prints to be submitted. Had I done it electronically I would have had it in about 4 weeks from what I've learned since.

Here's my timeline as a frame of reference for those still in the queue:

Applied online - 12-24-12
Did L1 in Brownsburg - 1-10-13
Paid Hendricks County - 1-10-13
Email from ISP acknowledging receipt of prints - 1-11-13
Sent an email to ISP requesting status - 4-12-13
Received the canned reply from ISP - 4-30-13
Sent an email to a Lt. at ISP requesting status - 5-3-13
Received a canned email from him same day - 5-3-13
LTCH issued - 6-20-13
Received - 6-22-13

I have no way of knowing when HCSD transmitted my app. They wouldn't tell me. But they did say that the sheriff usually signs off on apps within a couple of days, so I have to believe that ISP received it about 1-15 or so. That's when my clock would have started.

Hope this helps shed some light on the timeline. Keep in mind that I applied during the Christmas - New Year timeframe, so that probably added a few days.
