Surely you know the difference between measles and chickenpox.

Also, there's a difference between exposing/infecting and vaccinating. One is controlled, the other is not.

Both are childhood illnesses with a very low chance of complications. Both are more dangerous as an adult than as a child.

You're right about control, though. Natural immunity is lifelong, vaccines are not. The illness has known, quantifiable risks, vaccines risks are not. The illness complications are public knowledge and can be monitored and treated, the vaccine complications are denied and covered up, so they can not be monitored or treated.

So you're right, props to these parents for taking control.

Every time I visit this thread, it makes me sorry that 88GT isn't around to add to the discussion. I don't know what her expertise is, but in another vaccine-related thread, she posted some really good stuff.

Absolutely. People should be worried about the current government if they want to be scared of an illness. Tyranical Government/medical industry will kill a lot more people than measles, and will do it again next year and the year after.

I don't appreciate the way news outlets conduct themselves these days.

You're trying to argue some form of equivalence between AIDS and measles?

Does this strike you as a reasonable argument?

What is it? I don't know. JAQing off with acclaimed Google scholar, Glenn Beck on the topic of vaccination "crap".
