Ivermectin Paste for animals is different than Ivermectin pills. Don't try self medicating with the paste!

There are SOME doctors, typically not in corporate practices, that use Ivermectin. Hospitals typically will not allow it to be administered in the hospital without a court order because the FDA/CDC lists Ivermectin only for clinical trials. The OP says the patient is in the hospital. I know of several cases where court orders forced the hospitals to allow an outside physician to come in to administer Ivermectin. In the cases of which I am aware, the hospitals did not even provided nursing staff to help with the administration of Ivermectin. Liabiity issues.
What about patients rights? Why can't they sign a waiver and have it administered?

ask a lawyer ... my daughter is a medical corporate lawyer, she will give you 100 reasons.

    Get a court order.

But I'd rather have monoclonal antibody treatment than ivermectin, especially in advanced stages. The evidence in favor of ivermectin is generally positive for EARLY STAGE treatment not advanced stage covid

Not a lawyer but isn’t there a “right to try” law on the books in indiana for Terminal illness? Odds of coming off a vent are very low, low enough if it was my loved one I’d be trying that angle.

And that may be her next step, moving him to a different hospital. The problem is he is in such bad shape now, he will have to be transported by ambulance.
Don't know about your location but you may have trouble finding a hospital. Here in the past couple of weeks we've been on diversion more than not. That's for ANY patient. Systemwide we're down several hundred nurses, we have the beds but we don't have the staff. Friday we had close to 50 beds blocked for staffing.

It's going to get even worse in the short term, there are several hospitals in the region that aren't requiring the vaccine. Yet. Some of the hospitals are and some of them are close to requiring it. You have a lot of clinical staff that are dead set on the vaccine so they'll jump ship to one of the hospitals that don't require it which will make the staffing problem even worse. IU is requiring it Sept 1, I believe Methodist is following suit shortly there after, Franciscan is waiting on CDC approval and then will make the decision (already made but they are waiting on a scapegoat).

Scuttlebutt is that the Delta surge will be short lived especially as the vaccinated numbers rise so hopefully it peaks quickly and returns to summer time numbers. This thing isn't going away but as the herd immunity across the globe increases it'll still be a news story.

It has attained it's goal though; bringing our economy to it's knees. Hell between that and Biden's Afghanistan debacle the whole world is laughing at us and will soon be turning their backs on us.

Sorry about the political statement. Maybe President Harris will do a better job than President Biden.

Is that from firing staff that refuses to take the vaccine?

I watched a video on a family in the same situation yesterday.
They ended up leaving the hospital and going on hospice which opened up some treatment options.
    Prayers sent for your friend.
This is not my experience dealing with hospice for a loved one. Hospice treatments are geared more toward preparing for end of life and are basically limited to providing comfort.

This organization has been trying to get ivermectin/HCQ prescriptions out to people. Dunno what they'll be able to do for someone already in this hospital but it may be worth contacting them.

I 100% believe people are being denied medication and effectively euthanized via ventilation in order to protect the vaccine and suppress therapeutics. The entire concept of treating the illness has been branded a conspiracy theory and most hospital doctors would rather kill patients than be seen as Trump sympathizers or whatever.

Heartbreaking. Yes, they are straight up murdering people. Think they get a large sum of money for the vent also. Need to find a doctor to get the Ivermectin, I believe the Front Line Doctors group, link Ark posted, could help. I'd call multiple local doctors or go to their offices to acquire outside help. After securing the life saving medicine, will probably have to get the patient out of the hospital to save his life. This has been going on far too long!

Yes, I think that was the point where they could use Right to Life laws to try alternative treatments.

He is at Parkview, the brand new main campus along 69.

My general practitioner works out of that campus and my billing comes through Papa Parkview... They all strike me as fairly incompetent over the last 10 or so years. Not at all like it used to be 20 years ago at the original campus.

Has she contacted anyone from the other side of the street at Dupont Hospital to see what, if any, Covid care procedures they have? Maybe she can get the treatment she wants without putting too much stress on him?

I spoke with her this morning and calling Dupont was her next step this morning.

She has officially been banned from the hospital. She went to go in and security was there and escorted her out. She asked why and they did not have an answer. She was floored. She said never once did she yell, or curse and treated them with the upmost respect. She has worked as my sales manager for the last 8 years and I believe her 100 percent. I do not understand what Parkview is doing.

    Uhhh... What?

Sounds like she needs to hire an attorney immediately. It sounds like her husband is incapacitated and I'm reasonably sure, unless they had something drawn up otherwise, she's probably the one legally responsible for his treatment. Seems like she would need access to the treatment facility to fulfill that legal obligation.

What about hydroxychloroquine? Have they tried that or is that a no go in hospitals too?

    That is a big no.

When I was in the hospital over the Fourth of July with Covid I asked for it. The one doctor jumped all over me why would I ask for such a thing and told me I knew nothing about science.

She just hired one, I guess he is writing up something as I type.
