The findings prompted researchers from around the world to reassess their own clinical trials of the drug for preventing and treating Covid-19. The World Health Organization halted all its trials involving hydroxychloroquine due to the concerns raised in the study about its efficacy and safety.

Why post it and call it a fake study? Because the data they claim to have used to write the study was never requested. They made up numbers.

"The federal health department confirmed to Guardian Australia that the data collected on notifications of Covid-19 in the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System was not the source for informing the trial."

"Victoria’s department confirmed the study’s results relating to the Australian data did not reconcile with the state’s coronavirus data, including hospital admissions and deaths. The NSW Department of Health also confirmed it did not provide the researchers with the data for its databases."

“Usually to submit to a database like Surgisphere(company that provided all data for the study) you need ethics approval, and someone from the hospital will be involved in that process to get it to a database,” he said. He said the dataset should be made public, or at least open to an independent statistical reviewer.
More at the article. In short the study itself became a hit piece against a drug with no scientific evidence behind it.

The company (Surgisphere)will not release where it received the data from or release the data itself.

Not sure why they where even involved in a clinacal trial study in Australia, but the WHO used the study to stop ALL hydroxychloroquine studies as did many governenments.

One company is Chicago who will not release how it gathered data or the data itself used for a peer reviewed study just stopped almost all clinical trials worldwide.

While the disease matters and could impact your life in real ways it is no longer my focus. I still intend on doing my best to not catch it,but my focus has changed to dealing with others response. Be it the federal government, state government, local mayor, karen(s),business,or central banks.

...side note I may end up hiking in Iceland for a month as my sponsored PCT hike was canceled awhile back.Flying to Iceland is probably as cheap as it ever will be.

    Life goes on.

Prepare for it and the unexpected.

    Be well,be safe,you are loved.

A couple of my friends spent some time in Iceland last year and they loved it… Go for it!

it makes sense though. Twitter and FB claim they're not publishers, they just let people post their thoughts.

but when they want to comment on the post and "fact check" it they become publishers who are managing content. if you do that, you're liable for damages for things posted on your platform

you're either in charge of content or you're not

So, it sounds like some cabal is trying to attack hydroxychloroquine and they are willing to play dirty. What would be their motive for that?

Got 'em. Saw that video a little bit ago.

People are so attached to Orange Man Bad that they are willing to scare people off of a potentially life-saving treatment and they don't care how much fraud they need to use in the process.
I'd like to see someone do a financial interest investigation on Fauci for Remdesivir (the expensive drug he has endorsed despite minimal benefit).

From a more law-oriented opinion on it: They remain liable for their editorialization, but they do not lose the shield over content created by their users. In other words, the speakers each remain liable for their own speech.

Decisions about presentation do not turn the decision-maker into the "creator" or the "author," and the "publisher" distinction argued simply does not appear anywhere in the law.

Edit: Mike, let the filter do its job. We all know what four-letter word comes after "bull". Just don't want to see you get infracted over something small like that.

I see a lot of people doing it. I don't think INGO enforces it all that tightly.

Please quote a legitimate source for claims that Remdesivir is "expensive". I do not condone maligning safe, effective medical treatments regardless of which side of the political aisle benefits.
