Got my first negative rep since joining in 2008.

Not a single positive one for respirator hack by the doctor who coauthored the study on how to use one respirator for up to 4 patients either.

    Done posting on INGO sorry.

    Be well,be safe,you are loved.
You have become what you are fearing.....

    Stepping back may be helpful.

Source on photo. Interesting statistics although there are still a relatively low number of cases and deaths nationally to provide a broad dataset of information.

Smokingman, if you’re posting for rep, you’re doing it wrong. I’m certain I can speak for many of us when I say I did appreciate your posts, though.

    In the country, hopefully.
As a good trader knows, you are a much better trader when you can disconnect form your emotions. That might apply to posting as well. Let it simmer, think on it. You don’t have to prove anything here. Don’t let this get emotional.
Hopefully I’ll post about being emotional when I get over this cold (that’s what I’m calling it!), it’s pretty scary getting a bad cold during this stuff.
    Stay healthy.

It's not "hack" to be able to do that. Not a good idea in the least, but certainly not a hack. You can actually ventilate more than 4 at one time with a rigged system (if it is powerful enough). The difficulty is not in the ventilating but rather managing the respirations.

Doctor shows how to use one ventilator for 4 patients.May want to show this to medical staff.
I have already sent this to the hospital nearest me. They have a facebook, and many have twitter as well.
Get this video to the people that should understand it before they need it.

She's a whack job. In theory yes, practicality absolutely not. I would not want this person for my doctor.

She is talking about ventilating patients; not maganing them for recovery.

Fox briefly reported Type A blood seems to be more susceptible to this compared to Type O over at the epicenter in China. Guess I'll update my will now.

We're supposed to have military and police patrols, and road blocks, to make sure people have a good reason to go out (work, buy groceries etc).

All streets are pretty much empty.

    Travels and gathering are banned.

Is anyone self-quarantined or working for home due to the virus outbreak?

My employer is acting like absolutely nothing is happening. Virtually everyone I work with could telecommute, but that hasn't been advised. The word from the president of our North America operations is not to come in if you have a fever of 100.

We're European owned, and there's been a remarkable uptick in obvious disdain for the US in the last year or so from our BOD, so the assumption is being made that they just straight up do not care about us. We should find out about annual raises in a week or two as well and we're all betting on them being 0.0%.

As others have said, I'm just hoping to have a job when this is all behind us.
