It's like a switch was flipped going from Summer to Autumn.

We got a little bit of rain yesterday morning... I kept doing more primer painting in the evening after the sun was dropping a bit. Mosquitos came out. Sure don't want to be doing much swatting at them with a can of paint in one hand, a brush in the other and on a ladder. It got dark early and gave up. Seeing a bit of rain out right now.

We really need rain, and cooler weather. But I could still use dry to keep working outside. Slow rain right now. Looks like rain for the future.

Still raining here... No painting today. The windows I was working on I took in the garage to dry off. Maybe I can recoat them if they dry.

Nope. I'm not really a fan of goat. These are dairy goats too. Less meat on them than meat goats. They need to go make babies and milk for someone else

Stubborn oil filter would NOT come off the Honda Accord today.

Did not have any of these but the filter is so small could not find one small enough for it.


So ended up using this.

And this finally got it to move enough to unscrew it.

Was afraid jedi was going to have to break it off with hammer and chisel. The filter was crushed it appears whomever installed it over tightend it and crushed it.

Not the old school trick of driving a screwdriver though it for leverage?

I wonder if the rain will affect the Legion getting the parking lot sealed.
We shut down Mon-Tue for this and to get the floor redone in the hall.

I'd hate to think we just get the Hall done, and need to lose another couple days of income.
