That was in Philadelphia Sylvain. The city that prides itself on having thrown snowballs at Santa Claus.

I'm not aware of Philly's recent history and I have never been there.
To me it's a the birthplace of America, where the Declaration of Independence was signed.
So a symbol of liberty and all that ... of all places civil liberties should be respected.

You caused me to do some research.

There are about 27,000 deaths per year from falls or about 62/100,000 americans.
What is worse....it affects the elderly disproportionately!!!

I am getting ready to circulate a petition against ladders and stairs being used in all businesses and residences.
IF you are at work in a place that has any ladders or stairs and are not essential (which I now know how to identify thanks to Trump and Holcomb) You will be sent home.
If your house has any stairs then of course we can not send you home. The government will pay to renovate all those old one story road trip motels and pay for you to stay in them while you are displaced.

Now I just need a name for my syndrome...and it's proving to be difficult. Too many old farts resent some of the terms used to identify them. They call them "ageist". The nerve of them people. Maybe someone here can help me, I have compiled a list...

Geezer, Old-Timers, Old Farts, Over the Hill, Elderly, Old, Ancient, Decade Hoarder,

Or we could double down on offensive and be sexist too!

    Old Bat, Old Man, Codger.

If only a disease would come along and just wipe them all out, then we wouldn't have to worry about them anymore....and the death rate from falls would go way down!!!! A win-win!

Just found out, there was a death from a fall
    And a death from Wuhan.
    Both in the same week.

Like all words, meaning is tied to usage.

Neutral people have almost entirely dropped using the geographical reference. Openly racist groups use only the geographical reference.

When there's a difference, I don't want to find myself on the same side as the groups that actively and openly self-describe as racists.

Do people even read 1984 anymore? It's as if some people don't understand that George Orwell saw Newspeak as the logical conclusion of the effort to eradicate from our lexicon all language that SJWs deem to be offensive.

The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of Ingsoc, but to make all other modes of thought impossible. It was intended that when Newspeak had been adopted once and for all and Oldspeak forgotten, a heretical thought — that is, a thought diverging from the principles of Ingsoc — should be literally unthinkable, at least so far as thought is dependent on words. Its vocabulary was so constructed as to give exact and often very subtle expression to every meaning that a Party member could properly wish to express, while excluding all other meanings and also the possibility of arriving at them by indirect methods. This was done partly by the invention of new words, but chiefly by eliminating undesirable words and by stripping such words as remained of unorthodox meanings, and so far as possible of all secondary meanings whatever. To give a single example. The word free still existed in Newspeak, but it could only be used in such statements as ‘This dog is free from lice’ or ‘This field is free from weeds’. It could not be used in its old sense of ‘politically free’ or ‘intellectually free’ since political and intellectual freedom no longer existed even as concepts, and were therefore of necessity nameless. Quite apart from the suppression of definitely heretical words, reduction of vocabulary was regarded as an end in itself, and no word that could be dispensed with was allowed to survive. Newspeak was designed not to extend but to diminish the range of thought, and this purpose was indirectly assisted by cutting the choice of words down to a minimum.

    - George Orwell, 1984, Appendix, The Principles of Newspeak

    Don't fly a false flag.
If you're going to church just because the Governor said not to, be sure people know you're there for political reasons, not to worship God.

Our church is having on-line services and we will participate. We voluntarily surrender some of our freedom to congregate to show our love for others and concern for their health. Many in our church are over 70. It is better to meet electronically than to require them to come to the Sanctuary and risk exposure.

Do what you want, but be clear on your motives.
Lookout everyone, Faith police is on the scene.

Look, I was already planning to watch Easter services online. But when a government authority is threatening religious freedom, religious rights, THE CONSTITUTION, I feel p I s s e d off and the need to defend those rights. So attending a service in person is a logical reaponse to protest that government oppression of religious rights. It's like marching on the Capitol of Virginia in protest. Its NOT being a fake Christian as you are trying to imply. And that's none of your damn business anyways and is against Christs teachings in it's own right if you want to get technical. But I'm not judging you, I'm just saying dont judge me, because you aren't qualified anyways.
No one knows anyone elses "motives" or what's in their heart except God. But fighting for and taking a fine or jail or even a bullet to protect religious freedoms is something I'm willing to do.
I curse, look at porn, make dirty jokes, drink too much sometimes and run around in a sock too, guess I'm not getting in the pearly gates huh? Bummer.
But I never lied and pretended to be perfect or better than anyone else either.

To reduce the risk of infection, it is recommended that people at risk of influenza and/or COVID-19 consider taking 10,000 IU/d of vitamin D
3 for a few weeks to rapidly raise 25(OH)D concentrations, followed by 5000 IU/d. The goal should be to raise 25(OH)D concentrations above 40-60 ng/mL (100-150 nmol/L). For treatment of people who become infected with COVID-19, higher vitamin D3 doses might be useful.

Makes sense. Weve been eating oranges and drinking orange juice and taking vitamins etc. Also "tang".
I also have zinc lozenges and liquid zinc I can take in an eye dropper.

    Zinc helps too.
I know the oranges and stuff isnt the same level of a pure vitamin D supplement dose but it's better than nothing, also our vitamins and lozenges have vitaminD in them too. So I didnt buy any specific vitaminD pills.
