Quest labs in california is way behind in corona virus testing causing huge problems across the whole country.
They went around generating business at institutions and medical centers across the country, over-promising beyond their capabilities.
But yet they kept accepting samples for tests and the money for doing the tests when they knew they could not keep up.
Other labs could have done the tests faster and returned the important results to the doctors.

[h=1]Partnership with FEMA to bring 250 ambulances and 500 EMTs to New York City[/h]During the pandemic, New York City’s EMS has been responding to a record number of medical emergencies each day – a 50% increase over normal daily call volume. FDNY is urging New Yorkers to only call 911 if you have a true medical emergency. Those who are sick should call a doctor, and can call 311 for help getting connected with a doctor.
“Our EMTs and Paramedics are facing an unprecedented number of medical calls each day. There has never been a busier time in the history of EMS in New York City,” said Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro. “We are very grateful for this assistance from FEMA that will make an immediate impact to the 911 system and greatly assist our men and women on the frontlines of this pandemic.”

Oh Boy...
Here we go. What else is coming? :dunno:

Just because it is part of the Yellowstone caldera is no means for alarm. There have been just over 20 aftershocks already between 2.5-4.6 and the official USGS forecast is for up to 710 of those. The 6.9 in 1986(going off of memory)was larger, and Yellowstone calmed back down,so I am not worried in the least YET.

I am a bit worried about crude prices. With Canadian pipeline crude into the USA selling for $4 dollars a barrel and pretty much all land locked oil selling in the single digits it is going to be rough on our producers.
One is already having to PAY for customers to accept delivery.

Energy trading giant Mercuria bid negative 19 cents per barrel in mid-March for the crude, effectively asking producers to pay for the luxury of getting rid of their output.

I never imagined oil pricing in the negative in my lifetime or in an version of the future.

Seems like a good time for some MASSIVE infrastructure improvements. At those prices, there shouldn't be a single dirt road or pothole left in this country.

I just can not muster the strength to open that and listen. The stupid is in full swing lately and I am at my limit.

After you click on it (it's only about 30 seconds) ask yourself, "Could I imagine Mayor Stinky Shoes saying that?" After answering yes, ask yourself, "HOW IN THE A-F DID THIS ASSHAT GET 70% OF THE VOTE??"
