There is little that is more ironic than carson decrying racism at an event organized by a group that discriminates in membership based upon race; an organization of which he is a member; the congressional black caucus.

My letter submitted to carson today:

    Dear Mr. Carson:

It was with disappointment, but not surprise, that I learned of your recent comments at a Congressional Black Caucus event.

To refresh your memory, speaking at the event you said, “Some of these folks in Congress would love to see us as second class citizens.” You also said, “Some of them in Congress right now of this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me hanging on a tree”.

Your comments, Mr. Carson, are nothing more than veiled racism. It is a ploy you often take in effort to advance your agenda.

We witnessed the same tactic the day the so called “health care bill” was signed. You claimed that on your way to the Capitol Building, you were spat upon and called racial slurs including “the N word”. You have since repeated the story a number of times, including in interviews aired on Indianapolis radio station talk programs.

Through videos of the event, your claims have been shown to be nothing more than fabrications. One such video can be found at:

    http://biggovernment.com/sright/2010/07/15/naacp-even-when-they-make-it-up-they-get-it-wrong/

Despite the lack of credibility in your claim, you continue to repeat the claim in an effort to build racial division.

In my opinion, Mr. Carson, you are a racist. It is evidenced not only in the examples of your actions above but further by the fact that you are member to an organization that excludes people from its membership based on race; the Congressional Black Caucus.

Voters are recognizing you for what you are Mr. Carson.

Election Day cannot come too soon.

    Regards.

Well, the left has been calling him an "uncle tom" for awhile now, because he doesn't swear allegience to the Democrat Party like all good black people should do, since the Democrat Party clearly knows what is best for an entire ethnic group.
Not just those groups, they know what's best for everyone.

Can we expect some flash mob beatings in Indy yet? The leader practically gave them (those who are supposed to be second hand citi end and hung)permission to beat they're "oppressors".

Is it hate speech when a democrat makes these sorts of attacks. Hope he resigns or is displaced. From his positional. Scum back racist.

I think Carson is doing a disservice to himself and black people in general by perpetuating the idea that they are, somehow, victims.

Andre Carson is a racist, like his grandmother was. Children learn by watching...he learned to hate America and anyone not black or Muslim.

I heard this clip played over and over on Garrison and Rush today. He should be removed from office for such obvious racism but of course he will not be. One of the more concerning parts of the clip that was played was all the people cheering when he said this. I think it says alot about the hope and change this country is getting. We are more divided now than we have been since I have been alive (77). Sad times for this once great nation.

Maybe he was at a "Klan with a Tan" meeting....I think he is a member of the Nation of Islam movement. That would explain his overt racism and hatred of all that is not black or Muslim.

The 7th Congressional District of Indiana had a population of about 675,000 people in the year 2000.

Andre Carson won the congressional election in 2010 by a margin of only 31,000 votes. From 2008 to 2010 Carson LOST 86,000 voters.

In the 2010 election only 146,000 registered voters even bothered going to the polls in this district.

Carson was originally elected in a special election in 2008 after his grandmother died and leaving the congressional seat opened. In 2008 the district had 265,000 registered voters showing up to vote, with 172,000 of them voting for Carson and 92,000 voting for Gabrielle Campo.

So in just two years, where did the other 119,000 voters go? 86,000 democrats changed their minds about Carson or just decided it wasn't worth the gas to go vote. 36,000 republicans either switched or decided it wasn't worth the gas.

Carson is most likely history in the 2012 election as republicans will be sweeping out many reps on the coat tails of the massive defeat seen by the democrats in the White House and the Senate.

Think about this: All this squawking of late shows that the unorganized "Tea Party" is working. Why else would there be such an uproar from the "TAX-EATER" community?

That makes it even more important to get good liberty loving, small government candidates through the primaries.

    Yeah.....
That was more Liberal double talk.
Saying that he was taken out of context is kinda stupid since the entire speech has been aired several times. :n00b:
When in the Hell will the Liberals learn that you can't make a statement that is plain and clear, and then later say that you meant something else???

Well, to borrow a paraphrase from John F Kerry, Andre' was for the racist Tea Party before his was against it...:hehe:
Is being a hypocrite required to file for office as a Democrat now??

Nothing new here. Same goes for all the politico's, IMHO

Don't think it's up to the D's or R's to learn a doggone thing. It remains the responsibility of the People. When the People learn, the politicians will fall in line. As long as they are able to dupe the voter, we will continue to have the same old same old. :twocents:

the Tea Party will make getting him voted out their #1 priority in Indiana. We the People need to remove these kinds of morons from our government.

If the 36,000 missing republican voters would have gone to the polls in 2010, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

    People gotta vote.

But there may not have been a perfect Republican Candidate so it is better to have Carson in there and feel morally superior to everyone else.:rockwoot:

The tea party has hindered their liberal agenda and all they know to do is play the race card and call people names for having a different point of view. I say this is a good sign.

True. The Tea Party folks seem to have gotten their attention.
