A little off topic but I'm in Nashville right now and several locals are saying there is a good chance Nick Saban will be the Titans next head coach. Saban has Nashville ties with a high-end auto dealership. The investment in a new stadium is tempting as well. Supposedly the Mayor and Governor are pushing for him as well. :dunno:

    Their defense will suck again!
Maybe something will change and Ballard will get some help for that side of the ball

To Ballard’s credit, he basically took the blame for the poor secondary play.

Chris told Gus before the season that they were going to go young on the back end and live with the lumps that come with them learning on the job.

Does being young make them not even try to blitz?

Edit: I know you were talking about the secondary, but I'm talking defense in general.

The thing about blitzing is, it leaves the secondary on an island.

As frustrating as it was to watch, Gus was calling plays like he was scared of his rookie/4th string secondary. That’s why all the soft zone coverage.
