Rams win. Colts move up to #5. If the Cardinals win, we move up to #4.

Current draft order, before tonight’s game:

    1) Texans, definitely taking a QB
    2) Bears, definitely not taking a QB
    3) Seahawks, maybe take a QB? Do they love Geno?
    4) Cardinals, probably not taking a QB, Murray’s under contract
    5) Colts

We could get QB2 and not even have to move up. The worry is, will other teams want to jump ahead of us and trade up with the Bears or Seahawks or whoever.
The highest the Colts will be able to reach in draft order is #2. Even if the Colts and Texans are tied at 4 - 12 - 1, the Texans "win" the tiebreaker by virtue of strength of schedule.

Cards almost did the Colts a solid last night, taking the Bucs to overtime before losing.

Irsay said that Ballard's job isn't in jeopardy, so I'd be surprised if he's not back. I don't think it's a good idea to signal that the guy can do no wrong though. If he's not gonna fire him maybe a little pressure wouldn't be a bad thing.
Probably correct, unfortunately. Though, Irsay said that Reich's job was safe... until it wasn't. So, who knows.

The first tiebreaker is head-to-head. If they end up tied at 4-12-1 the Colts would "win" the head-to-head with 1 loss and 1 tie vs. 1 win and 1 tie.

That makes sense as I understand it. Because Colts and Texans had a tie game and another game coming up, one will hole a head to head tiebreaker except if they tie again, in which case Chips tie breaker come into play.

That made my head hurt…. LOL

No, Chip is correct. The first tie breaker in draft position is SOS. It is different from the tie breaker for playoffs.

Hardly seems fair, the Colts could have lost to the same teams the Texans played too.
Well, they have to have some agreed way to break ties. There are three games not in common between them, so that will have some bearing. Beating the Chefs sure does not help anything now. LOL
