    It said they originally bought four of them for investment.
    Yeah I suppose. If they get $70K for it, that comes out to approximately $1400 gain per year since they bought it. Not accounting for any costs associated with the vehicle sitting where it was or the opportunity costs if that initial $8K was used elsewhere.

    That doesn't even come close to what that $8K would have made between 1979 and today if it was invested in the stock market.

    I know, I know, what a party pooper I am.
