Today, we celebrate the seventh Ecumenical Council. When we have discussions with Roman Catholics, especially, we call ourselves the Church of the 7 Councils.

When talking with Protestants, some are not aware of these Councils, but they formulate the basic common Christian heritage of us all, with the exception of the 7th as it condemned iconoclasm.

Anyway, you may know that, for Christians theJehovah's Witness, Mormonism, and oneness Pentecostals are considered heretical in doctrine. You may know how to show it from the Bible, but it's nice to know the historical basis for that scriptural interpretation.

Here is a good starting point. The first 4 most here would find especially interesting.

You may want to consider electronic software vs books. The above is just an option based on what I know about you. It comes with several versions and several interlinears that you can see on that site or you can look around at others. I can give you a referral code that would save 100$ off of any package if you are interested.

    Something to think about.
I'm definitely going to think about it. Didn't know about this. Thanks.

    Try https://www.blueletterbible.org/

I want to get a copy of this Bible:
I've got one and it reads almost identical to the KJV. I'll look see if I can find an online copy so you can compare.

    Edit:

    Geneva study Bible.

Just compare it to the KJV.

Sure. Can PM me if you have any specific questions.

    Here is another, cheaper option.

I'm definitely going to think about it. Didn't know about this. Thanks.

Another good one to have on hand is Young's Literal Translation by Robert Young.
    I have that one also.

I'm going to add the one @foszoe mentioned Interlinear Bible. I want to build a hands on library. I think it would be wiser than digital at this time. At least you can still study with a library on hand when the power goes out or internet is down. Plus you can pass your library to someone else later on so they can gain knowledge.
