Cuomo: "is it ridiculous" to ask if we would act if a "stadium full of children...holding puppies...were all shot & killed?

Cuomo is mocking people who pray after an attack. Attacking people's faith in the time of a tragedy is not a good look. The end touch with dead puppies and kids is ridiculous.

Morning Edition had a clip of a Mother in Thousand Oaks, "I don't want thoughts and prayers, I want gun control!"



My initial thought directed at her wasn't very Christian-like.

I felt bad for her. She lost her child and she doesn't have a future hope.

I'm really feeling odd about the vigils they hold for these victims. Pepperdine had a vigil last night, and I feel it odd in a place where religion has been shut out. If you don't believe in the divine, don't pretend to at a tragedy.

Tragedy strips away all that insulates us from God. All the social media, wealth, work, distractions... those don't matter when you child is killed like this. Then comes the grasping for any anchor. Hopefully they find the true anchor and never let go.



But, the cynic in me knows they want a God to help them through the bad times so they can get back to the normal life of ignoring Him.
