Yet, how many thousands of Innocent people have been killed by those communist pricks. It's all a matter of control to them. A defenseless nation is a nation of slaves.

FTFY, however, the Communists weren't the first in Chinese history.

they just dont like the idea that if they decide to invade us one day the military will not be there biggest hurdle.

A Chinese invasion is right up there in probability with a Martian invasion. If THAT happens, though, we're pretty much screwed since they'll have death rays for sure.

If China decides to invade the USA it won't matter. They have more men available for military service than we have people, including illegals.

And if we can survive that, they have and estimated 13 million men and 12 million women that are growing up that can enter the service every year.

What if they invade the US and their men are all on fire? :dunno:

Say what you will, China's domestic policies really do not concern the US national interest. Any more than our domestic policy concerns theirs.

Imagine in 1949 that the KMT government had ended up in Beijing (or Nanjing), and the Communists in Taiwan. Assuming the KMT had not squandered the opportunity away, China would probably have the #1 economy in the world, with a standard of living on par with the West, and a relatively democratic government to boot.

I know we like democracy and capitalism, but I wonder if Americans would really be happy about that, given the problems we have with China now.

Don't let the nonsense of recent history take away your proud heritage.

If by recent history you are talking from 221 BC to the present. Chinese leaders have not exactly been known as benevolent.

Just compare the Qin emperor's resolution of the Hundred Schools of Thought with Mao's Hundred Flowers Campaign in the 1950s. Or the Qin destruction of libraries and liquidation of scholars.

Meet the new boss, just like the old boss.

I have two words for them. TIANANMEN SQUARE:patriot:

Actually that's four words. But your beef is over Tiananmen? Did you learn anything in school about the Great Leap Forward or the Cultural Revolution?

The CPC is not the issue. Whether they are there or not, China is a large economy and expanding in power and influence. We can't just run around saying **** China, and think that that will actually accomplish anything. Nor will another arms race.

Whatever you think of China, the real problem is America losing its moxie. We're the ones responsible for that, no one else to blame.

Wanna know what it is? It's our future if we don't do everything right now to defeat the despots in our country. The clock is ticking.

The RIGHT of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Gun ownership is not a violation of a human right, but the practice thereof. The denial of of gun ownership by so many dictatorial governments, such as China, around the world IS the seed of many human rights violations.

I don't think the Chinese government is about to surrender its guns to anyone, they need them to crush (literally crush people with tanks at Tianemen Square) any of its own people who dare to speak up for freedom

Human rights?? You mean the right of the Chinese government to forcibly sterilize women who have had more than 1 baby? Sounds like China wrote the book on human rights violations. Maybe they should get their own act together before they start pointing fingers. At the rate they are going, they may have centuries to go just to get where we are in America today.

The day the United States throws away its heritage of gun ownership is the day that China can walk into America and enslave us, just as China has enslaved its own people.

The Japanese had serious considerations of invading the US in WWII. In fact we DID fight them on the Aleutian Islands in Alaska (Kiska Island)!! Isoroku Yamamoto, the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II feared any invasion of the US mainland because he said, "There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass. He got that one RIGHT!! :rockwoot:

You guys are not seeing this from the Chinese side.

Humans in Chinese is only defined as those in power. They don't see others as Humans. That is pretty obvious.

Now firearms are useful when a government wants to oppress its citizens.

But in China, since the only "humans" are those in power, the private ownership of firearms is a human right violation, because it has the potential to over throw the government and therefore make them no longer "humans".
