I smell an Open Carry Event! I never even thought about it. Guess I might have to.

Nah on the event. I think it would make a greater impact if they just saw normal everyday citizens trickling to make their vote all through the day. Although, that could be a an event, just not a "group" one.

You guys are on the same page! As long as I'm legal, I want them to see who is voting and actively interested in how this great country operates.

Thanks for all of the feedback. INGO is a great resource!

"Elector" is not the same as "voter".

    elec·tor noun \i-ˈlek-tər, -ˌtȯr\

    Definition of ELECTOR

    1
: one qualified to vote in an election
    2
: one entitled to participate in an election: as

b : a member of the electoral college in the U.S.

It might be a good idea to carry to your polling place.

These guys will be and nobody will do anything about it.. Right, AG Holder?

I'll bet that I'm the wrong skin pigmentation to be exempted from prosecution by Holder.

What section of the Indiana Constitution or the IC did you find that at?

Heading to my polling place in about an hour with my stainless 1911 securely in an OWB holster. I'm also wearing the "Life Begins At .45" T-shirt my wife gave me for Christmas. :rockwoot:

Since my polling place is at the Jamestown Town Building, I've no idea if its legal or not. There's a "courtroom" in there.

I just left the gun in the Jeep.

OC'd today in Lapel at my Polling location. It was an IWB holster but was clearly visible. Not sure if anyone even noticed. It seemed that they didn't care if they did.

Oh and I did my part to rid Indiana of the Turncoat Lugar!

    Carried as well.

I was the only voter in sight, though. :( Low, low turn-out.

Chatted with a poll worker that knows my mother (I swear she knows everyone in the county), pushed some buttons, and got my sticker.

Word is we are consolidating polling places in November. I hope I don't get moved to a school. I like the little country church....

My polling place is a elementary school = no carry.

I showed up at 6:15 and was the only one there. I stuck a Murdock sign in the ground on my way in. Then I went back for a parent teacher meeting at 8:00 (same school). At 8:30 my wife went to vote. There were three people voting, but no one in line.

I CC. My son OCed. No problems of any kind.

Voting staff indicated participation was weak, but steady. Only disappointment was that the Constitutional and Libertarian Parties were not on the ballot.
