ISP has more than just the one that they picked from DRMO. The steal they paid for it was still a very SOLID 5 figures, then they had to drop a matching amount into it to make it usable...

Wow. Usually the vehicles through DRMO aren't that expensive. We've obtained a few over the years and getting them here typically costs more than the purchase price. Still a lot cheaper than purchasing a commercial armored vehicle though.

The problem with Uparmored HMMWVs from the DRMO Process is you are competing with other LEA, Other Agencies, The Military (we have had to resort to buy Our crap back from DRMO thanks to some Poloticians:xmad:), Mercenary Units(sorry Contractors), etc...

They are in quite the demand...
Plus Parts are very expensive for them for you guys. You only buy a part when needed. The Army buys thousands at a time. I get a lot better deal... ;)

Then I have to ask, WTH does ISP need an Armored Vehicle for anyway!?

We have several and we use them regularly. When Dep. Jason Baker was killed the idiot(s) responsible fired on armored cars from MCSD, IPD, ISP and they successfully hit a couple of helicopters as well. That was the last time I know of that they were shot but when they're needed, nothing else will do.
