    In the country, hopefully.
    Hard to say.

If only some kind of technology existed which would allow the live streaming of both video and audio. Like a call, but with video. A... video call?

You can't just say on screen and someone magically appears!

Btw if Joe dies or resigns (and one or the other, or both have to happen well in advance of the election), and Kamala steps up (shudder) then she can pick a vice president, who must be approved by both houses of Congress.

Traditionally and collegially Congress would give the president who he or she wants, but the Democrats peed all over that a long time ago. If the situation arises the House Republicans should screw them to the wall over this: it would be hilarious to see the Democrats sweating that somehow Kamala would croak without a vice president and Mike Johnson would end up as Prez until January 20th. Slim chance, but this has been a weird election season.

Plus, the Republicans should throw up things like insisting the vice president must be a Republican to bring the nation together or some such. That would be beautiful.

They should insist on a republican VP in that instance for that specific reason. BUT they should NOT make any attempts at playing games right now.

If they do something stupid, they will take away all the momentum and good will Trump has been afforded. They need to walk on egg shells with this.

It is easy to AI a voice now. The inept person(s) they got to make the recording did not even know how to use the program well.
If they had known what they were doing, they would not have every word perfectly pronounced and better spacing. Humans need to breath AI does not.

I do think the cadence is pretty far off from Biden's typical cadence. His voice sounded sharper, more like when he was 10 years younger. He talks much slower now than he used to. Words in the recording were not precise and were flubbed, as Biden does. But not slurred, which he pretty much always does now.

About the breaths. C'mon. I could hear breaths between sentences and phrases. But I listened to that recording with high quality headphones. I don't think he breathes like that now. He didn't wheeze. Doesn't sound real regardless.

This is my theory on how it goes for the next 3.5 weeks.

Dems have enough RINO's to get it done.

I sincerely hope we are not getting weekend at Bernie'd. If we are, we have truly passed the point of no return and this government will not get fixed by anything short of an insurrection. Hell, we may be at that point already.
