Around 2016 forwards there were all kinds of stories about how Europe needed mass immigration for the labor force and it would be good for the economy… fast forward to 2024 and you are now seeing stories about economic stagnation and inflation and crime because of them… it’s hard to feel sorry.

I think I read somewhere that the cost benefit ratio is something like 1:100. For every dollar they contribute to the economy they cost 100.
