I had to add a handle extension. It's more like a sledge banhammer now...

FTR, I don't like banning people, but some personalities are simply not welcome here. I've been around teh interwebs a long time and I haven't been on a forum that has simpler rules than this one. We really only have one rule outside the classifieds, and that's "don't be a jerk". If you can't follow that, then please leave us alone.

It's also interesting to me that those who have been banned, then go off and publicly bad-mouth this board elsewhere, try to come back here. They don't even try to come back just to stir the pot either. They try to come back, under the radar, and act normally. It's strange....

It's now a specialty designed handle with pre-cut grooves. Simple whack and it knocks it out. Easy but funtionable, and if needed can glue back in if it was a hasty one.

There's only so much that can be said publicly about this. I will say that 2 day "time-outs" have been issued. AFAIK no member who has been permanently banned (there aren't many) has been allowed to come back. IHMO, if they are capable of behaving in a fashion that wouldn't earn them a ban, they should have done so the first time around. Make no mistake, though I get a laugh out of speaking of the banhammer, I don't *like* doing it, and it really doesn't happen very often. Members being banned for cause on a site with as many members as we have make up a very miniscule statistic.
